Hume Hotel

Great front desk staff - the lovely young lady was overly accommodative, leading us on a room selection check before we decided on the best for our group. Everyone was very friendly. Also, having the bar attached was perfect.

It¿s a nice old hotel with character to it, but it has modern conveniences and great staff. Plus the downtown location is perfect.

Limited parking available (although there is a city parkade next door).

It has charm. Is very clean and very friendly people. Good breakfast.

Although the multiple bed room was a bit smaller than anticipated, it was very clean, and was well set up for our party of four. I appreciated being able to open the windows to get some fresh air circulating, and found the room fairly soundproof.

I would have appreciated a vanity mirror in the bathroom - tried to use the long mirror outside of the bathrooom for putting on mascara, but the lighting there was too dim.

we found out upon arriving the elevator was out and had been out for sometime. Our room was on the fourth floor (top). This became a chore over a three day stay. It may have been nice to offer some sort of discount for the inconvenience.

The staff, the management, and the Restaurant were outstanding. The over all experience was very enjoyable.

The HUME HOTEL was outstanding in every way. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a lovingly restored property — pristine, immaculately clean, generously well-appointed, and luxuriously top notch. The historical photos and murals throughout the hotel add a thoughtful touch, making each hallway feel like a walk through time — an absolute treat for history lovers.The staff was exceptional: professional, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to assist. The atmosphere was full of life, with multiple restaurants, lively bars, spa accommodations, music, and an energetic, gracious team that made the whole experience unforgettable.It was not just a stay — it was an experience. An 11 out of 10. We’ll absolutely return. And if you’re considering splurging, the Hume Suite is worth every penny.

Absolutely nothing!

The bed was decent

The room was not made for 2 persons. It was so small we could not even have a place to open our luggage. It should only be provided to customers that are solo.

A variety of restaurants in the hotel and close to downtown. It was an easy walk to the water. The decor was also very nice.

The room had now view with windows that were treated so you could not look out.

Our room had opaque windows and it looked directly at a wall about 2 feet away.
