Friendly Staff and good location. Also good breakfast.

The lounge was a nice feature, and we thought the pub food was good.

Hospitality was poor. Didn¿t clean our room or provide clean towels or coffee. Noisy from all directions. We felt bad for the overwhelmed breakfast server working alone with 20+ tables. Overall the experience was fine but not exceptional in any way.

Rooms clean, bed is extremely comfortable and awesome friendly staff.

as this hotel is older, depending on where your room is located there may be stairs...this can prove difficult with suitcases..but definitely not a deal breaker.

The staff

The overpriced breakfast.When I inquired by phone about breakfast being included, I was told "no". At check in we were given $7 coupons for the restaurant and thought that would cover an average breakfast.Their simplest breakfast without coffee($3)is $11.

It was clean and people were friendly!

I didn't like that the price was in USD... if I'm booking in Canadian with a Canadian Credit Card to a Canadian Hotel... I expect to be quoted CAD. I didn't like the heat issue in the room and noises! I woke up to a 6am alarm I didn't set.

The building was old and tired, stinks, carpets are stained, virtually no sound proofing between rooms, vehicle traffic outside was loud.

Room was dirty (pill bottle, bits of food and used Kleenex in a drawer.Urine on toilet). Man at the front desk was great.Very apologetic said manager would call and do something for me but she never did. No fridge,beds were old-no support. Bad pillows.

We loved being able to hear what the people upstairs in the hallway were doing, as well as the rooms the other side of us.It was very romantic for our honeymoon hearing the big trucks going over the bridge right outside our window all night keeping us up

It was probably a one star facility that we had seen billed as a four-star. The hotel room was small, the bed uncomfortable. The room advertised a bar fridge which did not exist. The soaps etc. in the washroom were tiny and of poor quality. Bad experience

Large Room

We ask for a view so he put us in a basement suite with a brick wall and a hedge to look at. Not nice

Someone was making a racket up above our room, all during the night. Loud stomping around!! Started shower at 5:00 am!! Decor could be updated to be a bit nicer for 4 star

I liked the location of the hotel because it was close to the ferry terminal.

Hotel was advertised as a 4 star but was definitely only a 2 star. I feel ripped off getting charged a 4 star price for nothing in return. Service was mediocre, staff looked like they needed sleep and kept starring a you like a deer in the headlights.

Good location and the beds were clean, linens were decent.

It is very outdated and the carpet looks grubby and stinks. We had to haul our suitcases up stairs to get to our room.

The road noise in the room was almost unbearable. There was an echo as cars drove over the neighboring bridge. The hotel itself was quite old, and while it was clean, it was definitely not 4 stars.
