    Pros +

    • The bed was magnificent. The rooms were quiet (although we could hear the footsteps of the people above us). The free laundry machine was a valuable perk. The multi-head shower and jacuzzi tub...what more needs to be said.
    • The cottage we stayed in was a tiny home. So beautiful. Our view was the golf course on the green. The lobby with the staircase was gorgeous. Such a fabulous place to stay.
    • Beautiful grounds & location. Restaurant open for take out during COVID restrictions.

    Cons -

    • Even for a room on the top floor, handicap accessibility in the shower and grab bars near the tub should be installed, especially for a hotel that caters to elderly clients.I nearly fell multiple times. In-room coffee SELECTION could be better
    • Everything was amazing, from the restaurant, the service and the room.
    • Wished they had a comfortable chair or loveseat....those kitchen chairs are not easy to sit on!!

    Underwhelming for the price but...

No of the USB charging ports within the villa were operationalThe TV remote didn't work from either of the beds. You had to get out of bed to get closer to the TV to change the channel Small children in the upstairs villa were very noisy running around on timber floors. I went up twice to politely ask them to keep the noise down. Visitors with small children should be accommodated on the Ground Floor

The apartments were comfortable and well-equipped. The location was great and the surroundings really pretty.

The staff was busy and our food order was significantly delayed. We were very upset to be given meals containing gluten when we made sure to explain our daughter could not eat gluten. We booked 2 rooms and were given rooms in different blocks. Fortunately we were able to move on the 2nd night. But we left our pj's in our old room by mistake and were not able to retrieve them until the next morning because staff were not authorised to give us access to the room/able to accompany us to the room so we could get them...

The suite was large and clean

There wasn't much hot water, immediately outside was the overflow parling and piles of gravel and seacans which was kind of trashy, and we didn't enjoy the anti-cannabis policy. Its legal. Just like alcohol, which we do not drink and is far more harmful to individuals and society... Unfair discrimination.

It is in a beautiful little neighborhood Crown Isle. Close to a small shopping area but yet nestled away so that you feel you are not in the heart of a city.Very relaxing. The restaurant and pub are top tier and of course golf is available for those that want to play.

Restaurant staff was superior! Food and drink was awesome. They had options for GF. Heated floors in bathroom was a nice surprise. lol

    Bathroom was outdated.

    Mostly everything

Pay attention to your serving staff and teach them. This is what I wrote on OpenTable regarding my experience; The attention to customers by the servers deserve a 5 star, however, during two of the several meals served during the hotel stay, two servers need to be trained on serving beverages. A male and female server (independent of each other) would politely ask if I wanted my drink refilled. After saying yes, they picked up my glass and coffee mug by holding the top rims with their ungloved hands and filled the glass and mug. Obviously I did not wish to drink from either as that is where they placed their hands. Who knows where their hands had been and how many other customers they served in a similar way which would transfer any virus to another. Didn’t we just get through the Covid-19 virus? Didn’t these servers learn anything then and why has the head waiter/waitress not schooled their staff on how to properly and safely serve customers? I give the Timber Room staff 1 star for this “cleanliness” issue and if given a chance on this site, I would not waste a star on them. It makes one wonder of how they handle food and beverages before they serve customers.

there was no breakfast included - cabin was comfortable with good linen and comfortable bedkitchen was well stocked good location good tvs - friendly staff - nice lady I spoke to re cleaning the cabin

the housekeeping was very haphazard - had to ask for cabin to be cleaned as the chambermaids did not " have me on the list " and only had 4 bottles of water during the 9 nights I was there - and I needed the garbage taken out an d as we had asked for a quiet cabin having one with all the vehicles parked in front did not make for quiet nightsand early ams sometimes

breakfast had mostly egg dishes, I don't eat egg, so asked server for meat and potatoes, he got me fixed up very well

clarity on car storage for the week, no mention of where the car should be, then a text asking to move it, I said yes but it didn't get moved. Subjective decision by security, I was told.

What a great setting! We were right on the Golf Course. Our little cottage was cozy and private. The restaurant was very good and convenient as everything in Comox/Courtney seems to close by 8:00! Very convenient location, we loved it!

You have to hunt down staff for supplies (coffee, tea etc). We stayed 3 nights and did not have a room clean. Wasn't an issue for us but may be for others.
