    Pros +

    • Good size room, functionnal fire place in the room, friendly receptionist, good location.
    • The location is great to explore the old town. The bed was comfortable. The view was nice on the main street. The staff was quite responsive on the phone.

    Cons -

    • Loose bathtub plumbing.
    • It looks much simpler, than on the photos. Its very basic.I felt like it’s a dorms but with separate rooms. It shows tear and wear. No place to hang on a jacket in the room. We just piled them up on a chair. It was not that much space in the room. On one side of the bed there was a small fridge, it served like a bed table. It’s easy to hear people walking up and down the stairs. The parking at the property is tight. It was hard to open doors once the car was parked. Like on one side it was not possible to get out. There were two cars on the sides. One of them was a track and our was a small SUV. Another one was a medium size sedan. Fortunately we didn’t get any bumps. The snow was not removed well. To enter the parking on the sides there were still lots of snow.
    • Overly complicated check-in. I guess we miss people/staff!

The location to Old Quebec was iideal. Also close to parking.

There was no closet or space to hang clothes or coats.

The location was awesome. We were able to walk to where we wanted to go each day.

We ran out of coffee and we never saw any staff to refill. The TV channels were terrible. We are sports fans and we would have like to see the Bluejays play in the playoffs and also NFL would have been great to watch.

LocationWe were able to leave our suitcases in the kitchen when we left at 11am & our ship didn’t leave until 5:30pm.Great staffCleanliness

Very small roomThe room was on the top floor. We are 84 & 86yo with knee replacements. This was perhaps our fault for not informing you but it was a long way up to carry heavy suitcases………& down.

    Great location and comfortable room

A few broken items such as window closure mechanism.

Ease of access and proximity to old town and entertainment.

The ceilings were low on the ground floor.

Everything was good. Quiet, relaxing, nice view

4 pillows instead of 3 would of been nice

Very convenient location next to the subway and near Plains of Abraham. Rooms were very quiet, neat, and tidy.

I had an evening flight during the day of my check out, and there was no luggage room to store my suitcase while I went out for the day! I wasn't aware of this and had to find another place to store my luggage for a few hours.

    9NinaPosted on: 10-2-2025

The inn was very quiet. The room was clean, bright and spacious beds were very comfortable. A perfect location, close to the Plains of Abraham and other major attractions.Communication was easy and quick.

It would be nice if they added a few paper cups.

    Location

Asked for a room with no stairs due to injury. Was put in the basement down stairs even though there were rooms on the ground floor which would have been ok. The basement smelt musty, windows didn’t open. The shower head was all broken so the spray didn’t work. Very disappointing for the cost.

    9NicolePosted on: 9-10-2025

Very helpful quick responding staff. Huge comfortable bed. Antique furniture charm. Nice bathroom. Shampoo and soap available. Little coffee machine.

Slightly musty/damp smell in downstairs room. Mark on bathroom floor I hope was a stain looked like blood so covered with the floor towel.

    4GioPosted on: 9-10-2025

It was close to restaurants and city centre

I had paid reservation for the parking at the hotel. Upon our arrival the parking was full. I called the receptionist because there was nobody at the front desk. They told me to park behind the cars in the parking lot while taking suitcases in the room. It took no more then 5 minutes and my car was badly scratched by a person with a sharp tool.I communicated with the hotel and the best they could do was to tell me to call my insurance! I have the feeling it’s the next door neighbour. I am pretty sure sure it’s not the first time it happened. Left a bad taste for visiting beautiful Quebec City!

    6TomasPosted on: 7-12-2025

Great location, short walk away from all the main attractions.

Room was small. Bathroom is outdated.

    7HeidiPosted on: 7-10-2025

    Good location. Fairly spacious room.

The plumbing in the building was loud and we woke up in the middle of the night when someone took a shower. The mattress was hard.

    4GeraldPosted on: 7-2-2025

It’s location. The bed was comfortable and clean.

No place to hang up clothes or to lay out a suitcase. The level of cleanliness left something to be desired. The parking area wasn’t marked properly, so there was much confusion over that since other patrons were using the space designated for my wife and I. We were supposed to get an email notifying us of the codes for the door and we did not receive it. So when we arrived, we couldn’t get into the premises. I had to knock on a window to catch staff’s attention and they could not speak English. So I was at a disadvantage. There was a refrigerator, small unit, to be used as a side table at the bed. Not acceptable. The overall appearance of the room was shabby. Not reflective of pictures shown online.

    3JeannettePosted on: 6-23-2025

    Room was clean and comfortable.

Very dated, furniture was scratched, door knob on the floor, poor lighting and one sconce was broken. Both sconces had “dead” bulbs. No outside space as the photo indicated. Weird, the tv sits on the refrigerator. Most importantly,#1: our ac never turned on. We called and asked the receptionist to check it. There was a fan in the room. I took this as an indication that they knew the ac wasn’t working. Oh, and no screen in window.#2: The tub was clean but slippery and dangerous! It is high so you have to step into it. No bath mat inside the tub.#3: There are many steps to enter the building and photo does not show all of them. Not told about the side entrance until we found it 3 days into the stay.

Unfortunately, this stay was so deceiving. The Manoir does not look at all like in the pictures and we were double booked.

The smell, the old room, ripped rug, spider web, old bathroom with weird bath, the uneven floor, and the service :(
