Perfect location to walk to all attractions. Close by many great restaurants as well.

The bed was not comfortable, and with an older building, the floors were uneven, so it felt like we were sleeping on an angle. We ended up sleeping on the opposite end of bed to level us out. Disappointed the ice machine was not available.

Location was great.

I would not even allow this establishment to be referred to as a hotel. At best this was a hostel/boarding house. We went over 48 hours without hot water. It was awful.

Right in the heart of old Town, close to restaurants, within walking distance of pretty much everything in old Town

While the hotel was quiet walls were pretty thin, Had to use air conditioning as no airflow from outside

This hotel was in a great location and the free wifi was a nice plus.

Location was excellent. Very central to all things in the city. Other guests seemed polite.

The rooms and bathrooms were not clean like in the pictures. One receptionist was very rude to us several times for no reason. She seemed to really to dislike the guests. Other receptionists were polite, though.

Close proximity to the Chateau Frontenac and most of the old section of Quebec City.

Rooms on the 4th floor are small and bathroom/showers are shared. Wifi on that floor is spotty at best. Try book room on the 3 rd and lower floors. The rooms look bigger and no shared bathrooms and probably they have better internet / wifi service

Great location, convenient parking (park across the street with your flashers on while you run in to get the parking card, and then that card gets you unlimited access in and out of a covered, secure garage right across the street).

Low roof beams and angled ceilings on the fourth floor make it very awkward to use the side of the room (you have to duck a lot), and the shower stall was very small.

The bed was small and very uncomfortable. The room was so tiny and the ceiling was very low, I hit my head when I woke up. You could hear everything happening in the halls. The steps going to the 4th floor were very tiny and dangerous. No bathroom in room

Excellent value compared to other hotels in the area.

The towels were clean and the room was well made up.The location was great to travel around by foot to see many of the sights I'd hope to see. It also offered a good reprieve from the heat wave and thunderstorms.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They allowed me to leave my bag in the lobby on my departure day while I walked around town, before needing to leave for my train.

I didn't know I booked a room that had "smoking optional". It was my own mistake for not checking this factor. I didn't like the Febreeze smell sprayed to cover up the smoke. By the second day of my stay, the smoke became apparent in the room and in the bedding. I would have given a good comfort rating if the smoke wasn't an issue for me.Even though the bed was well made up, there were stains on the coverlet of my bed when I rolled them back.The shared bathroom was not as clean as I expected in the morning with people's leftover pop bottles and sanitary napkin wrappers left near the sink. The shower was clean but the aeration wasn't great as the roof line above it had visible mold.

The staff did not acknowledge your presence on arrival..The advertised parking coupon not given.The lobby was dirty as well as staircase.The bathroom clean but in need of make over…plywood should not be the counter top.The furniture was stained,Overall you do not get value for money except for great location.

nothing works. TV didn’t work. Wifi is so slow that we can’t even watch youtube online. Parking card is not working neither. Room is very small with two queen beds, and way out dated. No counter top in the bathroom for the sink. Toilet pager holder is broken too.

The location, coziness, window view, staff, room.

I understand it is difficult with bigger suitcases to bring them up the stairs. However, it is worth it when you stay in the small little auberge!

The location as excellent, a 2 minute walk to the Fairmount hotel and main attractions of Old Montreal.

The mattress in the room was too soft and not comfortable. The heating in the bathroom was not working well ; it was very cold in the bathroom. The shower water was rather cold; the water had to run about 10 minutes to warm up to a temperature comfortable enough to take a shower. The water was only slightly warm , not warm enough. Although Booking.com advertised there was coffee offered in the morning, none was available.

The location is perfect, everything is close by. The staff is super friendly, helpful and kind.

Considering the -30 weather, a tray or carpet at the entrance of the room for the snow boots would've been amazing. Also, the room floor was too cold even though the heating was on. They have a shared area where you can heat up your food and use a fridge, which is great, however we needed to wash our plates in the washroom sink, so we suggest having a small sink in the shared living room would be perfect. Lastly, we would've liked to have a garbage bin in the room.
