Pros +
- The hotel was beautiful with large rooms and a nice bar and restaurant. The lobby was comfortable and it was a very interesting building. The location was great and a short walk to all of old Quebec and many great restaurants.
- The service was excellent. On a very busy weekend, the staff went above and beyond to secure dinner reservations for us and even drove us to the restaurant.
- We had a late arrival, and the staff was very accommodating. I wish they had a pool, but I have high hopes they are building a spa. The room was small, but the tech was great and the amenities were great in the room. I highly recommend.
Cons -
- No, everything was great.
- The bar and restaurant were closed while I was there. I would have loved an afternoon cocktail, as the bar is lovely, but this was not an option. We ended up going to another restaurant up the street. I wish they had a pool or rooftop option.
- There is no pool, hot tub or coed sauna.

A first class hotel. Excellent, friendly service. Perfect location within walking distance of everything. Comfortable room with deck overlooking a courtyard. Superb!
The staff is amazing and attentive to all your needs.
There is no pool, hot tub or coed sauna.
The historical artifacts on display throughout the hotel are very interesting. The service is exceptional.
The prices for drinks in the bar are extremely high. I would recommend going somewhere else for cocktails.
Cleanliness, staff, location
The hotel is very well located, the staff is very polite, the rooms are excellent, with comfortable bed and pillows, the lobby very comfortable, with fireplace and a bar. They also have a movie theater where you can choose the movie. Gym and sauna great.
Very quaint, close to things and yet not hectic. Great service and very clean and nicely appointed room.
Quiet;classy
It would have been nice if we could have gotten a quick cup of coffee and a croissant in the lobby without having to sit down in the restaurant
We had a room connected to an emergency exit and there were staff moving around at 4:30 am, which woke me. Otherwise, a great place!
Elegant room....great staff...great ambience...great location... the bellman was especially helpful!
It was extremely clean & the staff was very helpful, attentive & pleasant. The location was fantastic!
Not a thing!
Perfect location within walking distance to must see attractions, hotel staff professional and helpful, room absolutely beautiful, lots of surprises, quiet, bed oh so comfy, tv in english, lots of choices, nespresso maker, lots of coffee and tea choices.
Pillows were to high and way to squishy, felt like suffocation
The hotel had a charming restaurant and contained a great deal of history.
The hotel is right in front of where the cruise ships dock which completely blocks your view of the river. Also the river front room was very noisy due to street traffic. The staff was nice but not helpful in solving our problem.
The incredible Room service. And the service for the young kids. (They got baby crins, Teddy Bear and all the stuff needed for babies!
Nothing, everything was so so perfect!
The highlight of our stay was the spectacular dinner at the hotel's Chez Muffy. The ambiance, service, and food not to mention the 12k bottle wine cellar was spectacular. The more casual Artefacts was terrific, too, for breakfast and lunch.
The room was a bit small but we didn't spend much time there anyway. There's so much tbetter do and see in Quebec.
This hotel is remarkable in its service, its public spaces and attention to details. There are little surprises along the way. Incorporating the history and the artifacts of the site into the ambiance is exciting, full of chances for discovery.
Not a thing.
