    Pros +

    • The bed.
    • The location was excellent. We could walk everywhere, and it was very close to the boardwalk along the river. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. Our room overlooked a pretty park by the river. The staff was VERY helpful in every regard.
    • The only thing positive about this hotel was the location.

    Cons -

    • The service was absolutely appalling. No room service over 4 days, rubbish bin to be emptied by ourselves in a bigger basket next to the elevator on the corridor.
    • I wish that they offered some sort of breakfast. However, there were some nice places for breakfast nearby. Unfortunately you cannot park right next to the hotel, but there is a reasonably priced lot with ample space a couple of blocks away.
    • I took photos of the hotel and will be submitting reviews on multiple platforms. Mold and stains all over. We lost power for 2 days. The sink would clog and over flow. Too much wrong to say with this place for only 255 characters. This was AWFUL!

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, convenient location (close to the boardwalk)

This hotel was charming, clean, and in the perfect location. You can step right out to a view of the pier, and everything you want to see in old quebec is within walkig distance. This place exceeded my expectations!

The location and ambience and the service. The owner is a delight. Made us feel welcome from check-in to checkout. Cannot surpass the location. Of all my wonderful trips to this city, this was the best.

Fabulous hotel in tbe heart of picturesque old town Quebec City! Christmas Day and staff were amazing.

Close to everything! Amazing location; our room looked over a beautiful green park, and the rooftop terrace was quiet looked over at the Chateau Frontenac’s terrace. We walked everywhere! The breakfasts are great value and provide a wide variety of cold and warm foods.

The Murphy bed (2nd queen) made the room very small and somewhat awkward to get around. But the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom roomy and modern. Since we were always out and about, the size did not get in the way.

Walkable to close to town. We liked the coziness of the bedroom and the space downstairs with games and wine.

Nothing wrong with the property itself! Our room was fine, a typical small hotel room. But the bathroom was set up oddly. You couldn’t use or stand at the countertop beside the sink because the toilet was in the way. And yet there was a large empty corner beside the shower. This did not interfere with us having a nice stay. Just odd and inconvenient.

    The location is really great!

Room is small, the room could be cleaner.

    4yuzePosted on: 12-30-2025

The room is neat, design feels industrial. Decent.

    1. Stair ways to the front door, slippery, small, don’t go if u have elderly member with you.2. Room has NOTHING. Literally nothing, just a room with stuff to sleep with, towel, toilet paper. Oh and coffee machine, nothing else, minimal, only the very essentials.3. Sink clogged, disgusting, takes 8 min to drain. 4. Room was dry, super dry.5. If u got assigned in the 0 floor, people are going to stumble on u head.6. Parking is far, anything u might need from ur car, will take you 20-30 mins to walk grab and come back.

The location was great, view was incredible. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The only issue was at breakfast on the weekend, the food refill and coffee wasn’t kept up. Coffee wasn’t refilled at 9:30 even though service went to 10:30. We were forced to use the Cappuccino machine that wasn’t reliable and kept breaking.

Perfect location!! Steps away from the restaurants & shopping. But also a peaceful pretty street. Lots of room and very comfortable beds!!

The parking is a bit of a pain.

    10SuePosted on: 12-23-2025

walking distance from old Quebec City which meant great shopping, excellent restaurants and you felt like you were transported in time!

the front stairs - they really should reconfigure them to have a landing at the top where you have to open the door - very difficult to navigate

    10SalsberyPosted on: 12-22-2025

Nice hotel! Very close to everything.

No parking on site but it was easy to find street parking nearby. Also cheaper than the parking garages.

    10LuisPosted on: 12-22-2025

Upon checking, the young lady at the front desk greeted us with a beautiful smile which made us feel very welcome. She also was very professional. Our check-in was a breeze. Also, Samuel at the front desk was incredible as well. Spectacular Service !!

The only thing that I didn’t love was that the parking was not right at the hotel. With that said it’s a very short walk to the parking lot.

    10JuliePosted on: 12-18-2025

Everything was perfect during our stay and the location is fantastic! Close to Dufferin Terrace and Chateau as well as all the Christmas market festivities

All the breakfast flyers advertise omelettes but that was not available.

    10DianePosted on: 12-14-2025

The location was perfect with a view of the Chateau Frontenac and the River.

    8AnnePosted on: 12-13-2025

Loved the location and the lounge area

I found the tiny cone paper cups for the water in the lobby inappropriate for the Manoir and would have preferred water bottles perhaps 2 bottles even 330 mls in the fridge on arrival and could reuse.

    10MaryPosted on: 12-3-2025

The location was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. The hot tub was a bonus.

    The breakfast was ok.
