    Pros +

    • Comfortable room
    • Well-appointed room, wonderful breakfast every morning, and a fabulous rooftop garden.
    • Everything

    Cons -

    • The checking process was horrible and staff not helpful at all. Never going here again after such a bad checking. Plus: 5 min. After getting into my room, another guest unlocked and entered my room. Security of guests is not good at all.
    • Except for one excellent recommendation (Le Hobbitt), we felt ill-served with restaurant information. The information in the room book was dated, and the man we spoke to upon arrival didn't help us with locating restaurants open on Monday.
    • We needed to park at a lot away from the hotel as there was no parking available. There are quite a few stairs if you stay in one of the top suites, which makes transporting luggage more difficult.

Close to old Quebec (~20 minute walk) with a lot of cute shops and cafes nearby. Bathtub was a wonderful addition after cold winter days. Toiletries were provided and the view was great!

I like that it was a good location. Interaction with staff over the phone was pleasant. We never saw anyone at the front desk. The place was clean and beds were comfortable.

We were placed on “ground” level which is a basement bedroom and there was a constant clicking noise from a metal vent that would open and close the whole night. We stayed during the winter month of December so I don’t know if the same happens on other months. Also, they did not shovel the entrance and there was a lot of snow on the front steps. It took them 2 days to shovel the steps.

Cleaned rooms, well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect.

I wish they had better reading lights by the bed.

    Location was great

It was noisy. Very poorly isolated we could hear the corridor but also the road beneath. I didn’t understood until the day before we arrived that there was no actual personnel and that it was self check in.

Walkable areas, clean and tidy room

They start renovating the garden below the window early in the morning. It’s super noisy after 7:30 a.m., and you can hardly get any sleep.

    Nice room

Parking was a nightmare . Directions to the garage were inaccurate and it took me 30 minutes to navigate the streets when the route was shut down- staff tried to help but she was unaware of the shut down -

Nice location, very difficult to park. But everything else was nice!

Was a bit trouble with the parking. I reserved in advance, but when I came I was told that I didn’t. They finally found a parking garage for me 5 mins walk from the location.

The area was good for getting to the old town of Quebec.

It was very difficult getting our suitcases up the narrow steep staircase. I knew there wasn't an elevator, but that staircase was not only narrow and steep, but the handrail was loose.

Nice location in the city, the parking was close and instructions to get there were easy to follow. The room was clean and tidy.

The stairs are quite difficult to go through if you have big luggage

Fantastic location and very unique building and set up. Loved the community area with self serve amenities.

Location, rooftop terrace, windows open for fresh air.

I requested a check-in 2 hours early. They told me it would be an extra $20... !When I arrived at the hotel (on a very busy street in the heart of Quebec City with no street parking), they still hadn't sent me the code for the door.I arranged parking for two days and had to pay in advance. When I arrived at the hotel I still had not received directions to the parking garage. When I finally received directions, they had the wrong street address. If it weren't for the fact that my brother lives in Quebec City and came to my aid, I would have been lost! The parking garage address is NOT, 3 Rue Richelieu.... It's on that street just not that number.

Beautiful building and view from the balcony. Loved the historical charm. Feels like you're in Europe. Very clean and spacious. Nice shower. Close to old Quebec and in walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. Overall great experience. Would definitely go back again.

Parking is far and expensive but that is typical for the area. The balcony only had one chair and no table. Would have been nice to have two chairs and a table.

Walkable to most attractions. Quiet at night. Clean and tidy. Comfortable beds.

No elevator. Not easy to find street parking.

This hotel was a delight. We loved our room, which had lots of space and two comfortable beds, and we especially loved the private deck with a view of the city. The decor is unique and homey throughout the hotel and everything is very clean and organized. You have access to everything you need in the communal kitchen/living area (except more coffee pods, which would have been nice). Check-in was smooth with clear instructions. The area was also wonderful, with lots of cafes, shops, and restaurants all along the street heading towards the Old Town (which was a half hour walk away so we walked most of the places we went). I'd absolutely stay here again!!

We were fine with this, but note that hotel doesn't have an elevator and the stairs are pretty narrow, so if you have heavy bags or mobility issues it's probably not the right choice.

The location was pretty good! The room was very clean as well. They prepared whatever you need in the room.

We got the room number 8, it was a bit hard to find. there is no indication where the room number 8 was located. We spent a bit to find the room. You have to pass the dinning room to find the room, it's not next to the other rooms at all.

Great location - close to shops, restaurants and Old Quebec. Spacious unit. Small kitchenette.

No staff on site. Confusing layout.

    10AntjePosted on: 8-9-2025

The suite is spacious with a large terrace overlooking the city. It is in a very nice street, a lot of restaurants, bars and small shops.. There is also a shared area with kitchen, books, games and sitting area We loved our stay there very much.
