    Pros +

    • Nice block with restaurants, but it wasn't too noisy. The room was modern and clean, beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. We were three people and there were enough towels for everyone.
    • Huge bathrooms
    • Huge bathrooms

    Cons -

    • There is no elevator so we had to lug our luggage up the outdoor stairway to reception, then again up stairs to our room. Not a big deal, but it would have been good to know that we would be carrying luggage so much. We drove and it would have been good to get recommendations of parking garages nearby, or even better, a voucher to reduce the price of parking.

    Location

No air conditioning or even a fan. Was very hot in room and had to open windows for any relief…but then it was hard to sleep soundly due to vehicle and pedestrian traffic right outside the windows that faced the street and cafe. Was very difficult to reach the owner or management…even using methods placed at the entry.

The hotel is in a nice location, with lots of great restaurants nearby, on a quieter street. Café Krieghoff, conveniently situated downstairs, offered good meals all day. One room in the restaurant is a gallery space filled with beautiful art, even on the ceiling. The hotel rooms are small but there is a nice sitting room in the entry area with a fridge, microwave and kettle.

Our checkin wasn’t great as I didn’t get the door code instructions prior to our arrival. Luckily, another guest helped us out.

Loved the location. The area had a Bohemian feel to it. Lots of cool places to eat, including cafe Krieghoff. The bathroom was good.

The room was much smaller than the picture looked. The facilities as described in Booking.com, such as a balcony and seating area, were shared and not private.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Excellent food downstairs, great location and uiet, cosy room.

    Nice neighborhood

Extremly loud, construction work starting just before 6 o'clock.

    Easy access, excellent location.

One of the rooms we reserved had the bathroom outside the room. Even though it was a private bathroom, we had to go out to a shared hallway and walk 12 steps to access it. Needing to use it in the middle of the night or getting in or out after showering was not pleasant. We suggest highlighting it in the room description to make guests aware before booking the room. Also, even though the place was advertised as a hotel, the room was not cleaned during our stay.

This cute boutique hotel has very comfortable beds and nice rooms. The location is excellent- the street it is on is full of great restaurants and it’s an easy walk to lots of attractions. The restaurant below the hotel has great brunch!

We were in a room with a private bathroom that wasn’t connected to our room- it was across the hall. I think we knew that when we booked, but it was a little inconvenient.

The hotel was in a great location on a street full of shops and restaurants and it was surprisingly quiet given its location. The room itself was basic, but had everything we needed for a short stay. It was half the price of staying in Old Town which was a fairly easy 15-20 min walk away.

While I loved that they offered filtered water, it ran out by our first morning and no one had come to replace it in the 48hrs we were there. Check-in was easy once you realized where to find your room number "chambre". The front entrance never seemed to be locked like it said it was.

The room/bathroom were very clean and the location was perfect! We went during Winter Carnival and the parade started right down the street from this hotel. We knew it had a private bathroom, we just were not aware the bathroom was down the hall and not in the room. It was our private bathroom, but it is good to note it's not right in the room. Not a problem though! And the restaurant was wonderful! We had a delicious dinner and breakfast there. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful.

It was wonderful. No complaints here!

Comfortable room equipped with basic amenities. Bathrobes a nice touch. Lacking a few finishing touches such as no seating area to have a take-out meal , no reading light for the second bed. Be aware you need to leave your room and go down the hall to access your private bathroom with coded keypad. Overall quite pleasant. Excellent location, walking distance to many interesting parts of the city. (If you’re a walker!) Nice shops and restaurants on this popular street. The staff were great. Café downstairs very handy for breakfast. We stayed in winter, but there is a lovely and very popular summer terrace.

Access code a bit cumbersome, didn’t work sometimes so had to trek down to the café to get a new code. Shower drains very slowly, needs some maintenance.Stairs required!

    Everything was clean and comfortable.

I was surprised to discover that the bathroom was not actually attached to my room. It was a private bathroom, but located across the hall from my room, with a separate entrance and lock. So getting up to pee in the night involved going out into the public hall, locking my bedroom door, unlocking the bathroom door (and remembering the code!), and hoping I don't run into anyone in my half-asleep disheveled state. This is a very important detail that is worth a special warning in the room description (not just "This room features a private bathroom outside the bedroom.")

    Disappointed.

    Noise, bathroom location and stairs.

It was walkable to the old town. There were many restaurants around the hotel. It was clean and quiet.
