1st Choice Inn of Rawlins

The breakfast area was pleasant, and they had the best hotel coffee we'd had on the trip. The rooms were also soundproof, so I didn't hear the neighbors when they showered like I have in the last 2 hotels.

I did think the linens were overly fragranced, but that seems common in most hotels on this trip.

Clean , economical price.

Breakfast was a bit bland.

They charge for pets, 100 deposit plus 25 a night.

The staff was friendly.

The window had paint peeling and not just a little but a lot and in more than one spot. There was no remote for the television. I reserved a double queen room and they gave me a single queen. Breakfast was over at nine which was not convenient.

The room was large and recently renovated. The bed and bedding comfortable.

The entrance to the room was inconvenient. It was a first floor room but the room key didn't access the side door, so a long walk from my room to my car I'm spite of being parked right outsider my window.

Nice, quiet and cheap.

Our reservation and payment didn't come through so we had to pay when we got there and didn't have the card with us.

I reserved a room with two beds and the room only had a room with one bed available. We chose to not stay here. Horrible customer service and process.

Didn't smell like cigarettes, which seems to be rare these days, non-smoking rooms seem to always smell. Room was clean

Photos in listing show a remodeled room, but the room was not remolded, very dated, but at this price point that's expected.

Breakfast

The air conditioner in the room assigned was blowing cool but not cold air. I asked for a change. Was told no changes. I said call the manager. A text was sent. No response. I asked please call. Finally got manager to ok change to a room w/ cold air

The staff were friendly and when my room wasn't too my liking they provided another.

It was a bit run down and my room was very cold when I first arrived. I had to have the heater going full bore to just tolerate sitting in there.

Old and tired, spend a little more and get a lot more. Toilets are really low - like potty chair low. Breakfast is not worth mentioning. Building was dirty buy room was clean.

No breakfast available. The site said breakfast was included. The curtains and bedding were worn and had holes. Smoking area was right by front door and dissipated into our room. Desk clerk was unavailable to help us and answer questions

Although I had a reservation, there was no room available. This was actually a relief for me, as the place reeked of cigarette smoke.

Room itself was clean and comfortable.

Broken sink, mice, strong smells, very creepy feeling. Did not stay had to go to another place because we were uncomfortable. Lost our money. Very unhappy
