- I liked the location, and they didn't give me a hard time when I had to book for more days after the last day of the scheduled stay, due to some unforeseeable events on my end. They gave me the SAME room, with changed linens and towels! Very hospitable and pleasant staff... and it's within walking distance of Dollar General, Grandfather's Pizza, and the library (a 5-minute walk each, with the library a 15-minute walk). SPOILER ALERT: The Guernsey librarian is GENUINELY and ECEPTIONALLY nice, too!

Cons -
- Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn't like on the hotel's side. Really...I mean, because of the location, the power went off now and then, once or twice a week (I've stayed on two different weeks); they even went off at the Dollar General nearby. But the residents here tell me this is VERY normal, because of the high winds this area gets, but I AM NOT complaining--because it's winter, and since I'v ben here in the Christmas season, I've regularly seen temperatures in the high 60s (Christmas is going to be 67 degrees!)---Florida doesn't EVEN have that at this time of the year!!! PS--I've lived in central Florida for 3 years, so I'm very familiar with their winters, which in my opinion are not THAT much milder than New York's (I've lived there, too!). You still have to wear your big winter coat...I'm getting by in Guernsey with a light spring jacket now. In closing, I will say that the winds occasionally let the power out, including WiFi availability. But that was not the hotel's fault.

The property had many activities available, staff was helpful, and it was quiet.
