Good location
Restaurant/grill closed, poor facility maintenance.
The bed was ok
The room had a bunch of mold on the wall, the curtain were slightly closed so you couldn't see it, until the next morning, then I drop something by the bed were the headboard was and stuff to take in moisturizer out of bucket or whatever you call them was under the bed by the headboard, the tub had black marks everywhere in the tub and the sink when you turn on the water the knobs were rusty as hell we use extra rags to turn on. The iron didn't work and I would have ask for my money back but we drove 8 hrs , it was pouring rain and we came for a football game so hotels were limited and the ones that weren't was price to high because of the game. I personally will never book at this place ever again, and as far as a resort , I assume it was years ago when it was a resort, I have never seen a golf place and they were out of sugar etc for your coffee, and the breakfast i wouldn't dare call it that. The furniture they have showing as advertisement was dirty in my opinion and the whole building needs to be demolish, this place and start over . PS I forgot about the light as well, it was only 2 small light like for example you going to bed but , im not ready, so you turn your light off and i keep mine on. There was no lamps no lights to turn on when you come in the room. It was quite dem, so once we got up and we open the curtain for lightning today MOLD.
The location was great
It’s outdated and the beds weren’t very comfortable
Honestly, nothing.
BEFORE YOU BOOK A ROOM READ THIS REVIEW!!!!! The hotel was run down, dated, and the only elevator sounded like it was on its last leg. Our room had a very strong smell of urine. Human urine. Not from a pet. We walked in, and the ac unit was cranked down to 64° We turned it up to 69 and left for a few hours. When we returned, the urine smell smacked us in the face. Now I know why the ac was turned down so low. The moment any type of heat was introduced, the urine smell was horrifyingly evident. We had no mini fridge, microwave, or even phone in our room to contact the front desk. The bed felt like a stuff board with two body shaped divets in the middle. There was a suspicious stain on the duvet. Thankfully, we brought our own blanket and pillows. There were two lamps on the side tables that were both unplugged, so we had to move the mattress out from the wall to plug them in, and let me just say that behind that bed hadn't been vacuumed since the Reagan era. Absolutely disgusting. The noise level was insane. People were up and down the halls, laughing, slamming doors, and talking way too loud for as late as it was. That went on until well after 2:00am. The exterior of the building was absolutely filthy. Trash everywhere. None of the doors to enter the hotel were locked. Anyone could have walked in anytime they wanted to. When I asked for 2 extra bath towels and washcloths the desk clerk stated they were running low and woukd have to find some, then acted like it was a major inconvenience to them because they'd have to walk them to my room. Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and do NOT spend a dime to stay at this place!!!!!! You WILL regret your decision!!!!!
The staff at the front desk was super nice and helpful
Last year my coworker and I stayed here and we had an amazing experience. This year my mom came to help me watch my baby while I was at a work conference and she did the check-in and said that the rooms had mold on the curtains and the hallway floor to her room was wet. She was given a different room and the new room wasn't clean in the bathroom. When we tried to find a place to eat at one of the restaurants on site they were both closed and the staff didn't know why. So we ended up having to find a different hotel late at night with a baby which was ideal
The location was good.
The rooms were dated and old, common areas were cold, rooms were not serviced, and the walls were very thin. We were woken up each night.
Bad
The USB ports didn't work. The pool was closed due to staff saying that management hasn't gotten it fixed in some time. The hallways stunk. The pillows were throughly used. The toliet paper was the thiniest money could buy. There was no fridge but rather a very ugly hole where it once was. The room phone wasn't hooked up and had no cord to allow for hookup. There was hair in the shower. When opened the handsoap, only to find it was crumbled. The towels has weird yellowish stans on them. The carpet felt like it hadn't been shampooed in a long time. The desk chair was peeling so bad and felt grimy. The internet wouldnt allow my laptop to connect as it kept going in and out. The front desk was no help, but to say sorry. I didn't want an apology, I wanted a resolution and found none.
Honestly, nothing.

Location was close enough to town yet far enough away to have little distraction from the university.
Room was advertised as a double room and not, Double bed. Thought the deal for a double room was to good to be true. Beds were very firm. Hotel needs updating which it seems they are working on. Stayed there about 20 years ago, not much has changed to it.
The breakfast was adequate, with good bagels. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was ready on time. Fresh towels daily. The location was excellent, with some nice restaurants nearby. Also very close to the WV Botanic Gardens and the WVU Natural Resources Center and Coopers Rock State Park!
The mattresses were old and saggy, but very firm. We were not comfortable on them. The pillows were also adequate, but quite firm, as well. The hotel is showing its age, but the big rooms for weddings and events looked very nice.
We only stayed one night...
Very outdated, dark outside with very little lights that works, no refrigerators in rooms, this resort needs a good cleaning
Location
No service in room. No one cleaned made bed or provided towels
Currently under renovation. Not all complete. What has been completed (our room and lobby) was great.

It was moldy and the Sheetz weren't clean the pool was not safe to swim in. And I ended up sick for days after we left from the mold and dirt in our room. I want refunded. I reached out to the property about this and never heard a thing
There was free breakfast was on a golf course and close to town
It smelled damp and moldy and along walk to breakfast and desk
