Hotel Morgan a Wyndham Hotel

Proximity to restaurant across the street, the bed was v-comfortable.

No coffee in room, windows hadn't been cleaned in long time, views of roof tops in need of repair, extra cost for parking, containers for shower products were all unusable without considerable effort to pull squirt tops up, push bottles from bottom.

We were in town to bike the mon rail trail and Decker Creek. So the location of the hotel was perfect. Walkability to the trails and to drinks and dining was great.

The price was outrageous. Having to pay to park was an insult. To state that a breakfast is available was a laugh.

Location was great if you?re checking out WVU.

We flew in for a quick trip to check out the University, no car. Would have been very nice to have a shuttle. Looked like only valet parking, could be wrong though. Needs a major update in the rooms. Quite small and claustrophobic.

Loved the historical character of the hotel, from the concierge to the rooms.

There was no coffee maker or kettle for hot water in our room (for tea, etc.). We also did not have any hand soap, only body wash from the shower. Parking was across the street and we had to pay $10 to park overnight.

Always a stately, historic, and beautiful property, and still is. The level of service was outstanding. These were mostly younger people, who were also university students. Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, confident. Top notch service.

The entry was very pretty, a historic beauty.

I was not told that their valet isn?t part of the hotel and I was unable to access my car for my sons early morning dive meets on time. A waste of $80 on parking!!!!!! Do not park with this hotel.

Wonderful hotel with plenty of character. Located downtown and about five blocks from the WVU campus, it's a great alternative to the generic chain hotels out by the freeway. In the morn. walked up High St. and had breakfast at Zeke's. Highly recommended.

Had to pay for parking. As of July 2024, valet parking was $20, but there was a self-service parking lot right across the street for about $8.

Very clean and polite, attentive staff. Convenient to restaurants and to the main university campus.

Parking is either valet or metered parking in surrounding lots.

Our sheer had minimal water pressure. Hard to rinse out shampoo even. The rooms were super noisy. I am a light sleeper and barely slept at all.

When I called no one answered the phone at the front desk. I called on 2 different days and when I arrived I was disappointed to learn they charge $18.00 a day to park a car. There is practically no place to eat no water in the rooms....

Friendly staff, clean room and hotel. Charming lobby, small but nice bar. Valet parking was very easy.

Water pressure was low, that was the only drawback.

I loved the historical hotel morgan in Morgantown,wv. the room was modern with little historical part left.

I didn't like they take so much of history part. out of the hotel morgan. they modern the motel too much. to satisfying the rich people and younger partying types. that's why people come there to stay. For historical reasons of this hotel.

Location

They encouraged me to get valet parking yet neglected to tell me that valley parking shut down at 11 PM. I needed it after 11pm. I was working a few blocks away and sent my son over to get the car after using the app. Not enough characters to explain this

Bed was comfortable. Loved the fridge and retro speaker. I liked that there are separate areas for the mirror/sink and the toilet. The style of the rooms kept that ¿old¿ feel while still modern. Great location.

Room needs a small coffee maker. The internet was terrible. You couldn¿t even watch an entire show without it kicking off and saying ¿no internet connection¿. The sink is entirely too high, made for a six foot and above person.

I liked the location. I could walk to shops and restaurants.

It lacked amenities. I did not like bathroom layout. No mirrors to see yourself when getting dressed. Room did not have a couch as pictured and advertised.

Friendly staff, great location downtown area, and price. Breakfast bar was adequate. Newly refurbished so it was nice. I wish they had changed to central heating during the renovation instead of individual heaters.

I don¿t like the heater¿on the first night it was going off and on every few minutes. When it was on, it was really loud; when it was off, it was deathly quiet. I was not able to sleep properly because of the on/off mode. Staff offered a new room, noneth.

Nicest hotel I¿ve stayed at in years. Friendly staff, beautiful décor, excellent bar
