Grandstay Hotel & Suites

The man at the front desk was very nice, actually let me check in at 2 when I arrived as opposed to waiting till 3. Room was clean, crisp nice sheets, 3 pillows on comfy bed, large TV with lots to choose to watch. Bathroom had enough towels, very clean.

Mirrors not clean, no cup in bathroom. Key card didn't work, I struggled while 3 house cleaners were in the hall, not one offered to help me get in. Finally someone noticed and let me in. Had the keys reissued and all was fine afterwards.

Close to where I needed to be, friendly staff, nice beds and free breakfest.

The location

It was a disaster. The room was under construction and should not have been rented out. I had exposed wires, no deadbolt mechanism to safely lock the door while I slept, no lamp shade, a badly leaking AC unit, a bathroom door that wouldn¿t shut, and more

Hotel double charged me and still has not refunded my money There was no hot water in the bathroom sink The continental breakfast was stale at best The donuts offered had been there the entire stay. Not fresh! TV to complicated for an average guest¿

GOOD PRICE AND not bad for place to sleep. that's bummer about swimming pool closed.

Great location and room was nice. View of parking lot is fine because we could see our vehicle from our room. Pool is great!

Noisy hallway in the night and early am. We never got any housekeeping - no cleaning and no replacement of towels. And there was a doorstop on our door, which I believe is against the fire code.

The location was great for why I was there. Next door to a Culvers restaurant made easy for getting dinner. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean.

The hotel looks nice from outside and it's clean

It doesn't have an elevator. The receptionist left the desk while we were trying to find our way to the second floor. When he returned, he attempted to help us carry our luggage to the second floor but then left what he was carrying at the top of the stairs to answer his cellphone. It's a cheap place. No breakfast included.

We left a piece of personal property at the hotel. We live out of state. I called to see if they found it in our room. They did! I sent a prepaid envelope and Jamie Patel has good customer service.

Stayed on the first floor. I could hear every step the person about me walked or ran. I was up at 5:30am because the person above me was and walked around for 2 hours straight. I heard their shower start and stop I heard their door slam shut.

The breakfast area is clean and seating is comfortable. The stafff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great.

Our room had the smoke detector battery removed, and it smelled like smoke. It got into all of our clothes throughout our stay.

Happy to have the pool!!! (Kiddos said it was really cold) Beds were pretty comfy. Location convenient. Staff responsive. Breakfast seemed to have decent selection!

It didn’t seem super clean - feet/socks were filthy. Drains didn't work very well in sink or tub. Only had one bath towel for 3 people but then also had like a medium towel…

It was close to an ailing family member’s home.

The room was not the cleanest. Dirt and cobwebs in the bathroom. Door to the room was difficult to get it to stay closed. Outlet in the bathroom kept shorting out when using the hairdryer. Breakfast was not appealing!!

The location was great for us, very quiet and close to family and easy to get to. A walk away to Culvers. The manager was very nice.

No refreshments available to purchase. The stairs to the rooms may some day be difficult for us --did not have an elevator.

Overall the hotel was clean.

The sink faucet in room was very loose. There was only a half roll of toilet paper available. There was no phone book, or information about local amenities. Pool was closed early.

Uncomfortable and low budget

-Blinds didn’t cover the window well and we had a spotlight positioned right outside our room. Room never got dark at night. - a stranger was able to access our room with a room key while we were watching tv at 10pm- no cups for drinking, tiniest sized soap I’ve ever seen and only one bar to share between sink and shower. - bed was hard and pillows were cheap- horrible looking paint and caulk splatters everywhere- room was twice the price of its normal rate due to being near college campus during graduation weekend.

It was close to my workplace. Fridge and microwave. A/c unit was running well. Friendly staff

No jacuzz (advertised having one)i, stale and poor selection of continental breakfast items. Holes in shower, leaky shower, cheap shower head.TV system was overly complicated. Soundproofing was weak. Interior lighting levles were extreme. Either way to bright, or too dim.Lobby was overrun with boxes ?.

Close to wedding reception and cheap.
