Quality Inn Superior - Duluth

It was right off the freeway and close to all of the attractions of Superior and Duluth.

Someone was smoking weed in the hotel next to our room. Heater doesn?t work well. There was ice cream left in our refrigerator. Hot tub has no working jets. No pool towels.

Location. Nice pool. Friendly staff.

Really like the lodge-looking lobby; made me feel cozy. Room and bathroom were roomy.

Breakfast offerings were somewhat fewer than expected.

Moldy air conditioner, stained carpet in room, tiny pillows, hard bed with unclean sheets. Room smelt like a smoker was in there. Cold breakfast, used shampoo container left in shower. Uncaring manager when we told him of the issues.

Clean

This was rented a 3 1/2 star hotel on your site. We?ve stayed at 50 hotels and this should not be rated any much above a 2 1/2 star. I think the rating on the site might be a mistake.

The staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean.

The full breakfast was more like a continental style. There were no eggs, however, the muffins were delicious.

The room was spotlessly clean and well-provisioned. I appreciate that the staff brings clean towels every day. The previous hotel where we stayed didn't do that. We had to ask for clean towels each day.

No close caption or sleep timer for the TV. It was cold in the room, and the heater didn't work.

quick and easy check in

Once again no towels in the pool area left my great &me drying off with my t-shirt. Don't understand why that happens all the time. The pool is right by the front desk so they can see all the people in the pool and that no towels for anyone to dry off.

Cost, clean, convenient

Old property. It was fine, but not a 3.5 star. Probably a 2.0

Hotel was in a good location and hotel staff were generally frienndly even though they were short staffed.

Room smelled like old smoke, pool and hot tub had too much chlorine. Breakfast only served until 9am on a weekend. Certainly not a 3.5 star hotel. Hotel was more like a Super 8 or Days Inn quality which is fine unless you are expecting 3.5 stars.

When I drove up to this hotel to check in there were 3 young men standing outside the front door smoking. When I got to the front desk one of the men ran inside to help me. Our room window faced a low income mobile home park. There bed linens were old

The breakfast buffet only was not stocked with any food. And the pool was nice but the lighting around it left it dark.

If I had to pick something it would be the bed was not as firm as I like.

The room was spacious, pool was warm, and breakfast was good.

The toilet had urine dried on it and hair inside. Pretzels were on the floor in the bathroom and outside of it. There was no bedding on the pull out couch, but was a quick fix with running to the lobby.

The room was clean. Despite the bed feeling like I was swallowed up in it, I did not wake up with a sore back.

Bath towels very small. I am 5¿1¿, 145 lbs, small woman. The towel barely covered & screamed cheap. Hot breakfast was only pancakes and hot beverages. The rest was cold cereal, apples, oranges and muffins. The front desk man, drank alcohol from a shoote.

Old and outdated but it was clean and affordable. Exactly what we wanted. The breakfast was also perfect for our style - super simple but fulfilled the basic needs well. The bed was strange (puffy?) but very comfy.
