Best Western Plover-Stevens Point Hotel & Conference Ctr

Location

The room was badly cleaned. The bed was badly made up, the fitted sheet was not pulled down all the way over the corners. The bedding was stained and had holes in it. The bathroom counter had something grimy on it. I left and checked into another hotel.

Bed was comfortable

Front desk clerk was MIA most of the time. No coffee ready for breakfast. A frozen box of coffee was put in the machine. We left & went to McDonald’s. Toilet seat was loose. Tub was dangerously slick. No grippers

The owners have clearly remodeled the rooms on this old motel. The beds were comfortable, the shower worked well and the room was nicely painted and carpeted.

We were in a handicap accessible room, but the floor in the shower was like a skating rink. Just add some stick on anti slip pieces to the floor. Very cheap to do and very effective. Also, the treadmill in the fitness room did not work.

Best part about the hotel was the location.

Mold on all of the fruit at the continental breakfast and mold all over everything in the pool area. Beds were also uncomfortable.

Location

The front desk attendant didn't look like he knew what he was doing. They couldn't find my reservation at first. Then, in the room, the HVAC was so loud I had to turn it off. Half my group was already asleep and didn't want to disturb them.

Tv guide was good, bed was comfy

Breakfast was a joke and nasty.

Met our expectations very well. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Location was very handy and we had stayed there before and will stay there again. Breakfast was good.

Good location, reasonable rate, breakfast included.

Breakfast options much below par for food options and quality for similar hotels. AC was set at 62 degrees when we arrived, like an ice box. First assigned room was occupied, had to return to front desk for another key. Maid never cleaned room.

Clean room

Checked keys after checking in and when returning 4 hours later keys didn't work. Staff promptly changed out keys. Television would turn on to the wrong input to watch anything. Luckily we were able to resolve the issue without the staffs assistance.

Impeccably clean!!! The room, lobby, pool, everything was very clean. Friendly accommodating staff. The breakfast was a nice small selection for my kiddo before her days of hockey camp. I will definitely stay here again.

Hot tub was not particularly ¿hot¿ it was more luke warm. Could have been a touch hotter¿ but wasn¿t cold.

Room was spacious

Staff was not welcoming, when we arrived the receptionist walked away for 5 minutes before returning, and when we waited to check out no one came around. We also attempted to use the pool but it was freezing cold and the hot tub was the same.

So clean! Fresh smelling, no stains or old used furniture. Great friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Did I mention how clean it was? I¿d definitely stay again. Hot tub was great, no film on top of water from reused dirty water.

No water pressure for morning shower. I went down for breakfast and the warm food was already gone. Maybe have someone check on quantity and replenish for all guests to enjoy.

That the hotel room had a refrigerator, and the rooms were clean.

Raid/Roach spray smell in hotel/front-back. Chose hotel in rural area. Across from Truck Stop! Non-stop trucks all nite! NO SLEEP! Asked Sef for rm on back/side but denied at check-in!! 3rd night told Mazur. He yelled @ me for not change in morning!! BAD!

Large and clean room. Easy highway access.

There were only three bath towels and one bath mat in our whirlpool suite. In our two day stay, we had to reuse towels over and over again and share the bath mat between the two locations. Lack of hot water. Lack of healthy and hot breakfast items.

Price was good

Was expecting free breakfast buffet as stated on their website but they only had bag breakfast. Also had several issues with Wi-Fi not working had to go to the front desk twice to figure out their issues made it very hard to do my work without Wi-Fi.

Leaving it. The people over charged me and charged 2 of my cards my hold card and the one I showed up with to charge . Then they 2 days later charge me another amount saying the card was on site lol. I had been home in another state for 3 days .

Pool area was nice, hotel clean, and food was good. No complaints

Quiet place with less traffic

Room has molding odor unable to sleep and complained to staff for another room but staff refused. One staff said no room available but night staff said rooms are available and will have manager contact me but manager never did.

In a quiet, safe location just outside a shopping area and dining options. Fair price, clean.

The breakfast was marginal but if in a hurry, it was okay.

It was clean, which is most important to me.

No staff at front desk both during check-in and check-out. Having worked for this chain, I find that highly unusual and not acceptable.
