Travelers Inn Motel - Eagle River Downtown

This hotel is in a great location! This hotel is very clean! The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. It was very quiet and comfortable, perfect for getting a good nights rest. Loved the retro style!

My 2 children and I stayed while vacationing in Eagle River. We stayed seven nights. There is nothing we didn’t like about this hotel!

For the room there was no bugs, the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. The natural lighting was great. Especially if you are a early riser like me!

The customer service was not the best. Not the worst either. He was accommodating enough but gave off negative energy. Like he would rather be doing anything else but deal with people.

Very clean and close to everything downtown

The bed was in terrible condition. It has no support at all and it funneled both of us to the middle.

Very clean and upkeep on old property is excellent. I actually liked the dry humor of the hotel manager/owner.

Location and availability. Room was clean.

No alarm clock. No coffee at the specified time (6 am). A/C did not work.

The owner was very rude I will never stay here again I would really like my money back because he made everyone with us at this hotel feel uncomfortable We booked 4 rooms total and it was horrible

Owner needs to work on people skills, shower didnt work, info on room needs to be upgraded, like kitchenette? You need to bring your own pots and utensils, should be stated

Beds were horrible ,otherwise very clean, somewhat dated .

beds were the worst I have ever seen in a hotel for $---, otherwise ok ,if you like super firm beds made of possible cement, then this is for you

Staff was nice, location is excellent for walking local businesses and grocery store.

Spring mattresses could be updated for a more comfortable nights sleep, otherwise it was a great stay.

Seeing it in my rear view mirror as I drove away to go home.

Stay away from this place with every fiber of your being. The person who runs it is the rudest person I've ever dealt with in regards to lodging. He is absolutely obnoxious, arrogant & ignorant. I literally think he is ill. He hates is job and is bitter.

The manager made us move keep moving our truck and trailer, due to space! We felt like we couldn't pull into the parking lot and not have him come out and say something.

nothing. When I arrived the front door was locked. This is an old house with about 20 rooms. My room was up the back staircase. It was like staying at the Adams Family's House. A visit back to 1965 in decor. Grumpy guy at the front desk.

This is a very strange old house. I thought I would try it as a change of pace. Go stay somewhere else. I found a bug about 2 inches long crawling up the drapes. We called them stinkbugs in Indiana.

Location hard to find.layout to get to room very poor.senery frm room was a brick wall.Not a friendly greeting,Very crabby.I was a inconvenience(until I told him I had reserved room already).alot of flies/wasp (flies dead in bed & flooor)Rm hot n stuffy.

I loved the retro feel of this hotel. The room was small but perfectly clean and comfortable. The hotel is very cozy, it made me want to sit on the screened porch, drink some coffee and read a book.

The parking is somewhat tight but adequate.

It was quiet.

The filter in the a/c was dirty and caused the unit to not cool as well as it should of.

There was kitchen in the room

1.The kitchen has nothing prepared and was not separate from bedroom. 2.The WIFI connection is terrible, you can think there is no wifi connection. 3.A lot of tools in the room is unusable, not to say the bathroom. 4.The staff's service is terrible.

It was located in the center of the action. Easy to get to. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

We loved that it was located on the main street of Eagle River and you could walk to everything. I loved the screened front porch. I also liked the new shower/whirl pool bath.

It is right in downtown, so there are many things within walking distance. It is an older building with outdated decor ("quaint" as my elderly father put it), but it was very clean and comfortable! It had everything we needed.

The ac is window units. The rooms are outdated but if your looking for a hard bed and a toilet it's there.
