Holiday Inn Express Deforest (Madison Area) by IHG

The linoleum or tile as you enter the room is filthy. The staff tried to tell me it is because of their cleaning products. There are no cleaning products used on this part of the flooring. I had this same problem at the same hotel one year ago as well.

My room was spacious clean and beautiful

Breakfast was good and the server very engaging and helpful.

The king size bed we had needed to be replaced. One side of the mattress in particular slanted down towards the floor.

The staff was very cooperative and friendly. The room was clean and quite comfortable.

It was quiet, considering it was full and near the interstate.

No regular coffee pods in rooms and they didn't have any more in the hotel. Soft pillows too soft, basically flat once you put your head on them.

Staff behind the desk was very polite. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was great, plenty of selections. Seemed to be a safe location.

Staff was terrible, manager was rude and the breakfast wasn¿t at all what was shown on pictures or what a normal holiday express provides. Almost all the food and coffee was gone an hour before breakfast ended

This hotel was very nice. Great pool and breakfast. I would happily stay there again.

It was crazy hot inside even though it was winter. It must have been 75 degrees or more in the lobby area at breakfast.

The employees were very friendly and the breakfast was good.

When I pulled the price up, it showed $---, but when I then went to book it, it showed $---- which is what I paid. I suppose I shouldn't do things last minute, but was very disappointed to have to pay 25% more.

The hotel manager helped me correct a double booking. It was very much appreciated. The hotel staff were very professional and helpful. I will stay there again.

Breakfast was great, it was clean! This was our second start at this location we enjoyed it so much!

The room was dirty, there was actually a damp used towel left hanging in the bathroom.

It was clean, the beds were brand new and very comfortable. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we have had in a hotel. The staff for the breakfast worked hard and kept everything filled. Our room was very clean and cool.

Nice location off interstate. I wanted to break up a trip to Milwaukee and this was the perfect location to stop. I ate the continental breakfast before leaving in the morning and was very impressed by the great food!

Employees at front desk were having a disagreement over some issue. This should not have been discussed openly in front of customers. I felt very uncomfortable having to listen to this dialogue and was tempted to say something to the front desk workers.

Before we left we found an adult- male- trouser sock and a toddler sock...not ours...behind the TV from someone elses visit!!!

The room size was very good. The breakfast options were also good.

The seating area for breakfast was a bit small.
