Washington House Inn

Charming building and setting. Beautifully furnished. The afternoon social hour with wine and snacks was really very nice. A delicious and generous breakfast. Everything tasteful and elegant.

Cedarburg is so charming and this hotel is historical and beautiful.

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner but overall the room was great.

location is perfect. right in downtown area. walk to most restaurants and shops. cozy rooms. nice breakfast. friendly staff.

parking can be a challenge. i wish they offered a dinner as its hard to get in the restaurants on weekends. the wine and cheese is not very good. id rather pay for it and have better wine.

The hotel staff were top notch! They make customer service a priority!! We loved the location, breakfast and 5pm cheese & wine social hour. Perfect for a couples weekend away! We definitely plan on returning to this B&B!!

Some hotels I will say that if I'm ever back in the area, I would stay in this hotel again. For the Washington House Inn, I think I will go out of my way to come back to return. It was a historic hotel with a cozy bed and breakfast feel. Loved it!

The staff and amenities were really nice. I loved the happy hour and breakfast in the morning. So warm and welcoming.

Staff was great. Brunch and wine and cheese at night was excellent.

I look forward to returning to the Washington House.

Very nice location.

I didn’t like the doors and how you have to lock them coming in and out. They should lock automatically when leaving and only need a key when returning. It’s a hassle and unsafe. Because not everyone locks the front door. Also no refrigerator in the room.

A fun place to stay even for locals. We were tourists in a nearby community. Can't beat the downtown loacaiton and old-world charm of the Inn. Breakfast was surprisingly robust with warm and cold options and almost every beverage under the sun. The afternoon wine and cheese reception is also a nice add. Check-in was easy as was access to the place. Of course, Cedarburg is a great walking town. Enjoyed our stay.

Polyester (blend?) sheets are so uncomfortable: Tom’s my own preference, but I si appreciate when I have all cotton in a hotel.

Room was a bit noisy since it fronted the main street out front, traffic was loud. I would stay again however book a room towards the back

We loved the amenities such as the jacuzzi tub and welcome social hour (complimentary wine and cheese). Comfortable bed, lovely linens, and welcoming staff!

Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. The hotel is so well-kept up and has a relaxing, historic feel. The location is smack in the middle of town!

I liked everything!

Beautiful and charming historic building. Room was lovely- super comfortable bed, and bedding was amazing. Bathroom was clean and towels were nice. The breakfast and afternoon cocktails were fantastic.

Our room was quite dark and needed a bit more lighting especially trying to put on makeup and get dressed. The mirror was in the closet which was fine but that area of the room was so dark you could hardly see yourself in the mirror and couldn’t see the clothes in the closet very well at all.
