Pros +
- The hotel feels contemporary and is rather clean and spacious. The lobby is beautiful and the room was surprisingly sleek yet cozy.
- The staff was courteous. The facility was clean.
- Great stay clean and well appointed
Cons -
- The bistro had a limited menu because the hotel was "dead" because of the holiday. And none of the options were easily made gluten free. The front desk staff were not always at the desk and had to wait often for them. The pool was freezing, even after we asked if the heater could be turned on, and the ONLY reason we stayed was for the pool. There was dirt and toilet paper pieces under the vanity in the bathroom, big picture not the worst thing ever, but one of the wine glasses had fingerprints and was super sticky to touch. I would not stay here again. My daughter and I were doing a staycation and it just was not worth the investment.
- We paid 2.8x the cost of our daily mortgage. For that price I would expect a shower that didn't splash water out onto the bathroom floor without anyway to remedy it beyond a sopping towel. A shower that didn't have a hollow, almost musical drip bar under the head, in that every drop sung like a bell in the middle of the night. A bed with a decent mattress. Pillows with something in them that provided volume, instead of the paper thin faux down that couldn't even be folded into fours to make a proper pillow. A refrigerator that was set to cold before we arrived. A small freezer would have been nice. Better television? In this day and age, we can't get some xfinity, some movie channels? It was very basic compared to other recent destinations. The pool was nice, but not worth it. The gym is for cardio and offered nothing beyond that purpose. I was overcharged the first morning for two coffees from the shop in the lobby. The 2nd morning I heard her say, "15.79" for my latte and mocha. I shot my eyes up to the board and quickly add the coffees and tax to 12.08, questioned the price and was told, "my boss has the prices listed in the computer wrong." It was corrected to the listed price on the overhead menu, but I didn't press yesterday's overpayment and left wondering how many others had overpaid for coffee while weary from rising, rubbing their eyes as they made their way from bed to elevator to lobby to financial decision.
- We were not told there would be no housekeeping on Christmas Eve and again on Christmas Day. That was certainly an inconvenience.

No cook available for breakfast on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
