Cons -
- Walls are super thin and our neighbors down the hall and around the corner were yelling up a fit and cussing.
- It felt almost as though they were not kid friendly.
- Really nothing I was dissatisfied with. Rooms were very nice but a little small. No TV - minor.

We felt very welcome from the minute we walked in. The owner/innkeeper/bartender/waiter was friendly, attentive, and generous. The inn is very interesting and historic.
The location of the hotel can't be beat as it is right on the promenade.
The front staff were talking to each other (off topic) while we were being checked in. Kind of showed little respect of the customer by doing this.
We liked the antiques decor and the breakfast which was included was excellent.
Pretty much everything. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful and charming.
Wish they offered rooms with king sizwe beds.
Comfort and no television.
Did not like the shower, and could have used some more comfortable chairs on the balcony. The plastic ones did not really fit with the rest of the hotel's accommodations.
Comfy beds
classic hotel.
Atmosphere, food.
Fantastic food, fantastic staff, amenities, sauna, Shelburne has it all!!
location is perfect and staff was super happy to entertain all of my husbands odd questions. this Hotel is like going back in time in fact I'm pretty sure if the staff where do dress in costumes of the past it would defiantly feel like i had time traveled
parking was a little tricky due to the way other guess parked and its limited space, the window could use screens however not a deal braker I'm glad i was able to open them
Very historic. Kind staff. Early check in.
When we got there we found out we couldn't use our gift certificate because we booked 3rd party. We did not know that at booking, so we were about to head home. The hotel staff went out of there way to accept the gift card and not charge us. What a nice and decent thing to do. I suggest booking.com tells people when they are booking that they need to tell booking they have a gift card. The description from booking led me to believe I could just show the hotel.
The building was in need of repair, and rooms and beds need to be updated.Restaurant was nonexistent. If you wanted to eat, you had to sit in the bar.I will not book this location again.
Location is great, staff lovely. Mattress was nice.
Need much more light in #8 bathroom and room. I could barely see in the bathroom. You also need to add some more hooks to hang multiple towels. And shelves would help. Pillows were awful. Way too high for a comfort.
Ok
Room on busy road and no curtain on 1 glass doir
The location is good
The staff wasn’t friendly. Could’ve been more pleasant and helpful . No receipt given and asked to pay again at checkin even though paid in advance thru booking.com
Hotel was great I loved the age of the property it added a good level of ambience. It was a good place to stay to visit the peninsular. The suggestion of a place to have breakfast was good.
The provided coffee and tea was not kept topped up for breakfast. Coffee is needed to start the day.
