It had a beautiful river view from the balcony. It sits on the edge of town out of the bustle, but is close enough to walk to shops & restaurants.
We stayed two nights, and there was a very loud machine noise outside (on the river side of the hotel) which kicked on and off throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. I was also expecting the room to be cleaner.
The location
Could not find my reservation. Booked on 1-1 2018. The only reason we were not turned away was that I had booking saved with conformation # on my computer. After a 6 hour drive I was more than shocked. They did honor my booking and price.
Location was good Balcony was lovely Bath robes was brilliant and handy for the pool Pool and hot tub was much appreciated.

No. It was great. The exterior of the hotel could be updated I guess but all around everything was good.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, the linens were fantastic quality, the room was extremely clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was really good, nice location on the river and close to town.
The exterior of the hotel looks extremely run down and sad. Needs improvement and landscaping for better curb appeal. Room smelled alittle musty, maybe needs new carpet?
The view of the river was wonderful. Staff was friendly. Although it was an older building, it was very clean.
On the ground floor, the step up into the room was extremely high. Anyone older or one with hip issues would never be able to get inside the room!
