    Pros +

    • The hotel lied and tried to say we took the battery out of the smoke detector but it was already like that when we got there and then said we smoked in the room but none of us (myself, my husband nor my 17 yo autistic son smoke). 17 yrs smoke free.
    • Location
    • Small clean kitchen area. Nice view from window.

    Cons -

    • The lady that runs the hotel is a scam artist. Be very careful with her.
    • It is the worst value for the price we have experienced in 30 years. Its rooms are outdated, cramped, and dark.
    • Room is very small no place to put clothes. Could gear through walls.

    The owner was very responsive.

This review is for the room with 2 twin beds. The room is very small, the width probably is about 80”. There is hardly any storage in the room and bathroom. There’s no cups, no tissue, no bathroom trash can, and no hair dryer. (The owner loaned me her hair dryer.) The shampoo and body wash both almost ran out when we checked in. There’s no AC, but you may not need it. The stall type of shower is also very small. The mattress is ok. All things combined made this room extremely expensive.

they had nothing to like except towels were clean.

    1. room stinks of airfreshner overload. This is to cover up the old stinky floor and I was in #29 The floor is sooo soft you feel like your going to fall through and the carpet is 20 years old . website says A/C - ours was an 8 inch fan . The lumpy mattresses look like the cheapest made and very uncomfortable. When asking for help the said take it or leave it . The TV would not work, they figured it out 30 minutes later....was dead batteries in the remotes. I think you all at booking.com should book room 29 and see for yourself. I did not take photos..hard to photo smell, soft floors, poor attitudes.lumpy beds.

Location was great. Cute motel with older motifs. It was reasonably comfortable.

We couldn’t get TV to work. No soap or shampoo in shower dispenser. Room needs a deep cleaning. Bed too soft. Minimal utensils and plates. Difficult to figure out how to get stove top to function.

    Great location great views

Very old way to expensive for run down outdated facilities.

The place that should be condemned.

The smelly room. The rotten spots in the decking and the floor in the room. Wifi that didn't work. Not enough blankets because the heater in the room blew cold air.

I reserved a room with two beds and when I showed up I was given a room with only one queen bed. There was no one in the office until day three for us to talk to. Then she acted like it was our fault for going to the wrong room with the key that they gave us.

    Beautiful location

No parking no maid service very dirty old stinky carpet plumbing was loose no water pressure no coffee way over priced

The location and the cafe two doors down.

I read all the negative reviews and doubted the poor ratings. I didn’t believe anything could be that bad. I shouldn’t have. This place was filthy, inside and out, and poorly maintained. The wifi only worked in the lobby.

A typical roadside inn. The room had a small kitchenette to use. Right on the main highway. Bonus were the Bald Eagles in the trees.

The parking lot was small and on the side of the hill, but that's the terrain in northern Washington. Rural, nothing fancy.

I like that it is family owned and ran by the family. The sons help out and are very friendly. My son has autism so we had a long talk about autism and the mom could relate to what I go through. You can cook in the unit there is a stove top and a coffee maker and some utensils.

It just seems a little bit older style and theirs not much around there. But it is close to the prison which is where I needed to be close too. Be prepared for no close by grocery stores just a tiny store that has basic things. It’s definitely great for a fishing destination.

The location is central to the area with a good view of the marina.

The hotel is very run down. The "cabin" we stayed in was seemingly slanted off the foundation. You feel like you are leaning downhill when sleeping or walking in the room. The grounds are awful... everything is over grown, there is trash and junk everywhere... its a mess. The laundry room was across from our room and laundry is just spilling out the door on to the deck outside... its horrible. Looks bad, and shows no pride in ownership. The staff is so indifferent. and sometimes down right RUDE!! We will Never stay here again.

Close to the dock and restaurant

Wish the water was on at the fish cleaning station

    Waterfront location

To far from park, very tiny room n shower, in desperate need of refurb, not for couples on vacay, only for fisherman

Rooms are always nice love the vintage look

    Pillows. Very squishy, no support

The hotel is located in a very nice place.

Our stay was okay; however, we had a really nasty experience with the management after our departure. We booked our stay via Booking.com, and my credit card was charged four days before the check-in date. At checkout, my wife asked the man at the registration desk if everything was okay and returned the keys. He said "yes," and we left the property. The day after our departure, I was contacted by the management through the Booking.com messenger. They wrote that they were unable to charge my credit card and sent me a link to a third-party webpage, asking me to make a payment through it. I checked my credit card records again, and I also checked the status of the booking in my Booking.com account (it was marked as completed, and the payment status was indicated as "successful"). So, I called the hotel management to clarify the situation. However, the lady who answered the call suddenly became very rude and started shouting at me that she did not receive the payment and that it was all my fault for using a third party to handle the transaction (even though she was also using Booking.com). She interrupted every attempt I made to ask a question or clarify the situation, so it was a really unpleasant experience. Getting nowhere with the hotel management, I called Booking.com's customer service. They told me that the money had been successfully transferred from my card to the Booking.com system and that the management had not collected the payment from the system. Unlike the hotel management, the agent who answered my call was very nice and friendly, and she promised to get in touch with the hotel and explain to them how to obtain the payment. Long story short: I was really shocked by such treatment of customers by the hotel management, and I will not stay there again.

Good location for our travel plans. Liked the room layouts and decor was nice. Wish we could have spent more time in the area.

Our room could have used a good sweeping vacuum and dusting also the lock on the inside of the door was rather hard to unlock.
