    Pros +

    • We didn?t have to go anywhere else because we had all we needed within the hotel property.
    • Themed rooms and history shared through art
    • The grounds are nice and felt festive. The fire pits added to that feeling well.

    Cons -

    • I ordered a vanilla latte at breakfast and got a plain latte which was Okay but the waiter made the accusation that I was lying and brought me a spoon to mix it with so as to bring the vanilla syrup to the top.
    • Ice was not available in the same building as the room, not a huge deal, but would have been nice to know ahead of time.
    • Air circulation in the 1st floor was a bit stifling. The pool was nice but very crowded from morning till close, even on a Wednesday/Thursday.

The atmosphere, and having all the different restaurants and a staff were really great

The beds were hard as rocks need to get a little more comfy beds

The decor is very quirky and imaginative. The pool is huge, warm and the tropical tiki setting is adorable.

We appreciated the Staff. AND, there were "staff" being trained that experienced autism. Our son experiences autism, so that really blessed us. Also, having places to eat onsite was GREAT! We were tired AND hungry by the time we got there.

    Nope, liked it all!

I loved the concept. And the recognition that was given to the our educators from the past. The colors were great as the special touches with all the custom painting. The wonderful lighting in abstract places. The grounds are nicely done.

The Beds!!!!! They are so bad. It was by far the absolute most uncomfortable bed ever. That could really use some improvement. In a big way. I would not stay again until that would be fixed.

Great ambiance! This place has tons of character and detail! Our stay was enjoyable and we even extended it 2 extra nights! Make sure you go swimming in the pool!

The ambiance of this hotel is what others are trying to achieve.

Beds are comfortable, staff are welcoming, grounds are lovely, the pool is warm with a fun tiki theme, the myriad restaurants on site.

Our Thermostat was stuck and we were to warm all night

Easy going staff and great restaurants. The roof was comfortable. The pool area was amazing. The price was reasonable.

The property is gorgeous, with many taverns, and cozy nooks to sit, relax, have a cocktail, or talk with friends. There are fireplaces everywhere, and the waitstaff and bartenders are not only friendly, but will spin yarns if you're there at the right time.

Some waitstaff are absent - more than a few times in our weekend, waitstaff disappeared for long stretches. And, when some waitstaff were there, they were disinterested in helping us. It was fine, since we didn't have anywhere to go, but it's hard to imagine hove the level of disengagement scales to a full resort style establishment. The really bad part is the clientele. A lot of young males, drinking a lot, and very aggressive. My party (including a couple kids) were physically assaulted by two young men in the Tavern. The bartender was immediately on it, but the vibe in the Tavern (at least) was very rowdy, and, especially for kids, unsafe. We were scheduled to stay in the hotel, but checked out the first night due to safety concerns. In summary - great place to have a quiet cocktail in some places, but we would advise not visiting the Tavern or restaurants on weekends, due to the unsafe nature of the patrons. Mixed bag, but definitely not safe for families.

Easy to get to off the freeway. Staff so friendly and accommodating. Wonderful choices of restaurants on site. Complimentary wine in our room with a card for our anniversary was a special surprise.

Signage to tell customers where to go for the main hotel.

The location near family is good for me, though I'm usually too busy or in too much of a hurry to take advantage of all the possibilities for entertainment. I like the spacious rooms, I like the morning coffee, I like the delivered breakfast when I bother with that.

The shower needs a bench. It's hard to shave your legs without something the put your foot up on. I usually find the stay pretty pricey, at least on weekends.

Breakfast was great!Fast, filling, and in a great atmosphere.

Beautiful grounds with variety of settings and amenities. Helpful staff.

Parking given the volume if folks who were only there for drinks and a meal made overnight and checking parking challenging.

To a person, the staff was friendly, accommodating and genuine. The eclectic vibe and the history of the place made my experience very comfortable. It's clear that the small details are thought about.-great dining -things to do; theater, pool, garden-unique rooms that are just right -good online communication

    Honestly, I'm good.
