Anaco Bay Inn

When I arrived in the evening, there was nobody at the hotel, everything was locked. I called the number posted on the office door three times, but nobody answered the phone. So I was not able to get into the hotel. They did not refund my money, either

This room looked like it hadn?t been cleaned in a long time. Sheets and pillows had stains, carpet looked like it hadn?t been cleaned or vacuumed, cupboards had crumbs, Murphy bed had clumps of dust behind the headboard,

Very nice and quaint and quiet. Very comfortable. Nice and cool after a miserably hot day.

One minor quibble. There was a broken chair in the room.

My cancellation fee was only one-night's charge (for a one-night reservation)- it's a bargain compared to what I could have spent if I actually stayed there- medical bills, theft losses, etc., if other reviews are to be believed.

Rude staff- called my phone immediately after erroneous reservation was booked, wondering when I would be there, & refused to refund my erroneous purchase. Caveat emptor!!! Check reviews here and elsewhere before booking (read the one-stars especially).

It was in a good location for us.

The rooms were shabby and not very clean. We didn¿t have ANY hot water during our weekend stay. I emailed the management and got no response.

The smell, the artificial fragrant infusers were terrible. My lungs ached and my sinuses were stopped up. The infusers are terrible for our health and was surprised they were used and so strong. I cannot recommend the hotel based on the health hazard.

Very charming, even though it is outdated, with large rooms.

Unpleasantly dirty, I won't be specific because it is a long list. The INN would have been a great stay if they had a proper staff to clean the rooms. Some things looked like they hadn't been cleaned for years. Also, minor repairs are neglected.

Large spacious rooms. Well-appointed with fireplace. Staff was friendly and courteous.

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room!

1. No staff at the front desk-anytime!! 2. Not having a room on the first floor. Carrying our luggage with our canes up the stairs was somewhat challenging and dangerous.

It was very quiet.

It¿s older but cute. The room had everything that you need. Would have been nice to be stocked up with coffee.

What I appreciate about this hotel was the staff and location.

The hotel is more of a motel feel. The rooms are terribly outdated. The furniture is old. Terrible mattress!!! Apparently rooms have the same type of mattress. Hardly slept because of it. The room has a big jetted tub but it was old.

Our ferry from San Juan got delayed and the owner stayed up late to let us check in. Gas heating in the room made our stay very cosy. The room and bathroom are comfortably sized.

More shampoo please. A single sachet is not enough for 3 people with long hair

It was conveniently located.

The person who checked us in was very unwelcoming to the point of rudeness. The mattress on the bed was terrible! Uncomfortable and when one of us moved it woke the other person up. Supposedly there was breakfast but it starred ridiculously late.

Staff were great. Location great.

Clean,comfortable bed, and generous size. Definitely excellent value at reasonable cost. I much prefer a well-run private place to a chain motel. Good ramps for rolling baggage, and friendly and efficient staff. Nice little kitchen unit.

It's central and accessible to downtown but for this price you're not expecting or getting much in the way of waterfront views or resort-type amenities.

The location was good and staff was very helpful. Clean, comfortable accommodations.

The room was very large and had a jetted tub. It was clean and easy to check in and out. I loved the little signs around the room to help explain things.

The breakfast Can improve. We had to wait 10 minutes to use the toaster because of the line, so I recommend adding another or two. 30 minutes into breakfast, and the fruit and bagels were alreaday gone. I recommend adding food that doesn't have to toast.

Location. The room was large and comfortable

Continental breakfast was VERY disappointing. I stayed there for 5 nights and many times I had to ask for things in my room, like coffee or shampoo. The room was very comfortable and nice, management was very friendly, but housekeeping dropped the ball.
