Location and price.

No handicap accessable rooms.Big steps to get into room. I had to purchase some ramps just to get my sisters wheelchair in and out of room.

Clean except for stains on towels.

Towels were terrible and advertised pool was filled in.

Reasonably priced, Ease of access, away from the noise of I-64. Exactly what you would expect from an older motor lodge. Appeared to be safe and well-cared for by a family.

Bath towels were missing upon arrival

This motel reminded me of the mom and pop places I¿d stay on vacation with my parents when I was a little girl. The room was very comfortable, clean enough, the owners were on site and were friendly and accommodating. I¿d definitely stay here again!

Pool filled with dirt and fenced off. Picnic area would have been nice. Now just an eye sore

The listed amenities are not there. The seasonal pool is never in season. The breakfast doesnt exsist at all. The office isnt open until 11am. A large majority of the guests seem to be permanently living there long term.

Location, but the sheets were nasty , there was trash in the floor by the bed, and in the bathroom. There was used soap in the shower. When I brought this to the manager attention, he said quote the cleaning lady did do a good job. I said no

Lots of roaches, light feel off the ceiling, a/c heat unit didn't work well, mold in tub.

It was very close to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, where we volunteer and conveniently located to stores and restaurants, though you can only head south when leaving the motel. That's not enough to get us to stay again.

The lobby was never staffed, our reserved room was not available, the room we were given was never cleaned or serviced except to replace the battery in the smoke detector which went off twice during the night. No breakfast as listed. Never again!

The location was great. Clean on the outside. Was very inexpensive.

Opened the door and was hit with mold smell. Turned on the AC and got rid of the smell. Advertised free continental breakfast and pool. Pool was broken and breakfast was only on Saturday and Sunday. Then it was only tiny packaged muffins.More but no space

This place is 35 yrs old my opinion this place should be shut down bed filty - lice - floor unsafe people living there as a home

The landscaping was very nicely done, the proximity to Yorktown was great, and the price was low

They claim they include a continental breakfast. Not true. They do not offer one. When we arrived, the toilet did not work. When asked to fix this, the owners did nothing. Upon requesting a second time, they gave me a plunger and did nothing. Didn't care.

cleanliness - live and dead roaches in dresser drawers; stained toilet; torn window blinds in bathroom; pillows (not pillow cases) worn out & dingy yellow stains on all pillows; torn mattress pad and mattress worn out and dingy, stained and smelly

The motel personnel were very nice and accommodating most request to ensure an enjoyable stay. The motel was family friendly and quiet. I like having access to WIFI, the pool and free light contential breakfast were great extras. A safe environment.

The furnishings were out dated and the pool closed too early.

no TV remote, no breakfast, carpet was dirty, no bath mat or hand towel, only one towel and washcloth for each guest, no towels at pool

Nothing other than the price

We were told someone on staff 24hrs. Waited 15 mins 4 someone to check us in. The room was dirty & smelled. Sink in bathroom was disgusting I wouldn't even brush my teeth there, Not sure if sheets were cleaned & would not put bags down in fear of bed bugs

As other travelers have noted, they will not provide you with bath towels. Even after promising that they would, the towels never appeared.

The room stunk & was dirty. Our lock to get in our room was broken & wasn't fixed our entire stay. Bed linen & sheets were stained.
