It was quiet and there were plenty of ground floor rooms

I seen one Roach in my room and too many long-term guests

Long stay tenants more like apartment mpnth by month stay with children running the halls

Location, cleanliness and care of the old motel.

Price and location

Roaches, smelly AC, old. 1 night need a cheap place to sleep is ok.

It very fitting for the price range and quiet. It has microwave and fridge in the room so that's convenient. It's been a great place especially after a long day.

Cost was the best part.

The high tax assessed on the cost. Lack of outlets for plugs. Patches on the wall.

John Smith is good for a short stay. Its clean and simple tv works frig and microwave, but it worth about $---$--- total. $--- on a weekend.

Staff was nice. Very quiet.

Pool was dirty. Place is run down. Transient hotel. Folks live here by week.

Workers we're very friendly,clean rooms, AC worked great,guiet area, close to all sightseeing areas between Williamsburg to Yorktown. We enjoyed our stay and ended up staying three nights total.

Everything was great, will note the hot water in shower takes a minute to get hot but then when it gets hot it's really ¿¿hot.

Location.

Bugs in the room. Card key lock was disabled so we were only given a key for the deadbolt. The door had been left open when we checked in.

The dude on the front desk took copy of my credit card for incedental purposes, I think state ID is valid enough as a copy. It's just weird to see someone that works in a hotel asking for a copy of a customer credit card even tho I already paid online.

Dirty. Mud in the tub. Noisy.

Location.

Room was poorly maintained and was not well cleaned. Sandwich in refrigerator from prior guest. Outdated furniture. Coffee pot dirty.

The owner is a great man always tells u be safe and god bless.the house keeping is very good at there. Jobs to make u happy

The only thing i didnt like was the breakfast wadnt open at 830am and we i checked. In i had yo show my service dogs id but its ok just. Doing. His job

nothing. we opened the door and never brought anything out of our car. filthy, advertised a pool that was empty a not working. rotten food in the fridge.

Room was dirty and reeked of smoke. The room had been flooded before - water damaged furniture and sheet rock. Checked out almost as fast as we checked in and went to another hotel. Innkeeper unapologetic as we had pre-paid so he didn't care.

Shower was good. Room was filthy. I slept on top of the bed and prayed I didn't bring anything home.

The location was awesome....

I actually had to strip the bedding due to the unbelievable amount dirt and hair on them...The room smelled of mold and was extremely unattractive.

The room smell was terrible - musty, moldy. The maid failed to clean room the second day of stay - used towels left in floor, bed not made, etc. Gang of teenagers outside our door in parking lot at 2am being loud and noisy.

I did like the fact that we could park right outside the door - no lugging suitcases up 2 or 3 flights of stairs. We didn't stay long enough to use the pool, but it looked clean.

Hotel needs an update. Breakfast was minimal; cereal, toast, milk and coffee. Waffle maker was broken. Staff was not friendly at all.
