Insects, broken animal claw on floor

The manager; very helpful. Good room, location and parking. We plan to go again.

Refrigerator in room.

Place is dated. Digital TV was nice but analog picture was poor quality on an otherwise nice TV.

bathroom and bed linens were clean.

1st room had terrible odor, picture on wall had water stains, layer of dust on headboards. Switched room and couldn't get room key to open room. Third room was not as horrible and since we couldn't get money back we stayed.

The 2 rooms we reserved on the 21st had roaches. Didn't have this problem when we reserved a room on 8/11 through 8/14. The motel looked dated but could deal with that considering the location and price.

It was easy to locate.

The steps should have slip resistant padding and covering for the edges. The chair inside the room should be thrown out.

The location was great to get to food places or convenient stores in walking distance. Dollar General right by it so any thing forgotten can be purchased. Not far from the amusement parks! The owners were very friendly and helpful on changes and additions that we had.

This place is not a good place for a family traveling and needing something to feel safe and rest. The bottom of the bath tub was nasty. The coating that's put on the tubs when made had all peeled up and was nasty. And they need a designated smoking area AWAY from the building. I filled a complaint about all of the people smoking near my door and the smoke coming into my room and NOTHING was done about it. I was traveling with my kids and they don't need to smell all that crap that was being smoked out there, and I was told there was nothing to be done. Well yes it was the manager could have asked them to move away from the building so the smoke wouldn't come into others rooms. People get NON-SMOKING rooms for a reason.

No Continental breakfast was available, booking.com stated there was. Place was clean, but shower needed replacement, raw ceramic was exposed, compounded by it looking like it was repeatedly repainted improperly making it look worse. We opted to not shower even though we were smelly from the day at the park. We were happy to see linoleum flooring so we did not have to deal with dirty carpet. Gentle working at front desk was extremely polite and looked like he genuinely cared.

comfy bed easy to access location very personable staff. quiet. no amenities such as pool, etc, but we were only staying one night, so we appreciated not paying for amenities we would not use. great place for an overnight stop when traveling.

no breakfast. due to Covid-19 restrictions, 'breakfast included' should probably be removed from hotel 'amenities'. we seldom encounter a 'full' breakfast now... mostly 'grab and go' suger-y junk food or nothing at all.

Pool not open

Just needed a quick spot to sleep for the night while traveling.

I wanted to use the pool , I wish the bathroom in the motel had more ventilation if somebody uses the bathroom it stinks the whole room for an hour or so. Gross.
