The Colonies at Williamsburg

I loved the indoor pool with the basketball and the game room pool table.

The pools and jacuzzi set up

The beds are a little hard not that comfortable

The first room had hair all over the bed. So they moved me to another room.Then that room shower didn't drain. I look under the sink there was a used condum with blood paper. I called up front they apologized and told me a manager was going to call me to refund me. Never received a call

Location was convenient to the reason for our visit to the area

Hot water in the shower didn’t stay hot for long. Parking was kind of a mess. The walls are thin heard the tv from someone else’s unit.

It was close to everything

The fact the my first night and into the second day I was without hot water. Then I was moved to another room and the heat didn’t work. It was a horrible birthday weekend. I was told I’d be fully refunded but I haven’t heard anything from the property and haven’t gotten my money back

The staff was good but it could have been better

The location of my unit was not ideal. The parking lot was covered in ice. It could have been cleared better for the guests in that area. We all had to be very careful getting to our vehicles due to the icy parking lot. My 1st unit was rented out to a gentleman whom I walked in on. Had to go back to the front desk to get another unit and I walked into a unfinished unit. It was cleaned but not inspected so things were pulled out and not put back into place as a finished unit.

Clean and comfortable

Only thing is the dishwashers don’t really work need to be upgraded you have to keep pushing on the washer in order to work

The beds were comfortable. It was quiet.

Hearing the train blowing by blowing it's horn late at night although that wasn't the resorts fault.

Bed Bug Infestation

The sofa was infested with bed bugs. Front desk Manager said there was nothing they could do. The week before we had stayed there and I had a bite and thought nothing of it but this time I recieved over 50 bites. Management just brushed us off. Saying their policy was to do nothing but we could file a formal complaint but offer no help in the matter.DO NOT STAY HERE. ROOMS ARE INFESTED WITH BED BUGS.

The pool, hot tub, and it have an arcade

The arcade was a bit dated and could DEFINITELY do with some parking spots

It's comfy and quiet

One of the front desk staff were very rude with my husband when we tried to extend our stay. When we checked the room they put us in was dirty so they put us into a different room. There was a female at the deck that was very rude to my husband when we tried to renew our room for 1 night. We spoke to a manager about it and nothing was done. So, The place was a good stay but, The customer service is really bad!

Excellent place to stay, staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean and fully equipped.

Peaceful and quiet where we was at

I asked for a ground floor because of my asthma and I got an upstairs room. I put that in when I made reservations and it was not a lot of people there. My stove was broken.

It was clean

There was no water in the bathrooms, there was cold air from the heating vents, staff was unhelpful. Had to did myself a path to get to my car from the snow storm

Didn't eat breakfast there, too cold to walk around and too tired, slept most of the time

It was a beautiful view, the unit was clean and comfortable, great amenities, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

When I entered the building my unit was in, it smelled like a dog was there. The smell was HEAVY! The next day, the smell wasn’t too bad. I’m figuring it may have been a dish one of the other units were cooking the night before. Can’t control that. They paid like we did! Also, There was not a lot of activities to do for weekend. The activity office is closed. However, we found other things to do in the area. Overall though, the stay was very pleasant. It accommodated everything I needed.

The space was well designed and set up for comfort while being away from home.

The chairs weren’t very comfortable. I need to have my feet up often due to being orthostatic intolerant. The height of the ottoman was higher than the chair making the experience more uncomfortable. Seemed to stretch my lower back slightly.

Me and my family loved the establishment overall ! The housing , the amenities and the staff as well! I will definitely be back in the summer time !

I liked the indoor pool but couldn’t appreciate it because it was sooo cold. It should be warmer for colder months!

We did not get breakfast. We were not informed that breakfast was included. The location was great (loved the location).

Just make sure that stuff works in the apartments. Like our shower door would not close. Someone had turned off the wifi in the bedroom and in the living room some one had turn off the TV. It look like that were playing games on it. But they sent someone over. He was very nice and was able to fix both TV issues. My last concern is that one of the workers, (I did not know she was a worker at the the time until i saw her showing the proper when I was leaving on Sunday) she had blocked the driveway where we park in front of the building when we were registering. It was a one way. So pull her car up get of the car go inside the registration building. When we came out of the building I asked if that was her car. She proceeded to get in the car an pull out not acknowledging that she hear me. She drove off and then stop on the side of the road for a while. I am unsure if she was having a bad day or what. She drove a black car. Like I said previously, I did not know she was a worker until I saw her again Sunday morning showing property. If I had did a tour and she was my tour guide, I would not have brought.
