Holiday Inn Va Beach-Oceanside (21st St) By IHG

Perfect location right on the beach with a beautiful view of the boardwalk from our balcony. Close to all local amenities and restaurants within easy walking distance.

General areas were a little tired and the pool area looked a bit run down - although we did not use this during our stay.

Clean and great location

Our last evening there we had no water. They would not allow me to shower myself and my children in another room. They wanted to try and fix it. By the time it was decided it couldn’t be fixed we would be late for dinner if we moved rooms and showered. We had to go to dinner sandy and dirty. Then after dinner with a 2 year old and 3 year old you are exhausted but we had to go back pack up and move rooms. Packing is easier said than done with young ones. I was exhausted. This was horrible.

Great location and the facilities were good. The ocean view was great and the indoor pool was good. The bathroom was good.

The breakfast buffet was adequate but could be better.

We had the buffet, which was probably the best we've had in the US with lots of optionsWe also ate in the restaurant one night, the food was good & the prices were reasonable.Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Virginia Beach is an expensive area for hotels and restaurants.

The location is great.

One of the staff personal has a nasty attitude, it was an African American female with a head band. She needs to talk to customers better.

Location is great, nice balcony, unit was clean, nice amenities, restaurant attached had great food.

The walls are thick but the doors were a little thin. Could hear guests in hallways and room next door. Ended up having to stuff towels under the doors to suppress the noise level a little.

Location was great, clean hotel and rooms. The breakfast buffet was extra but good enough.

The beds were awful and had us all waking up through the night in pain and stiff.

The stay was great! Good location, free parking and overall cleanliness. Staff was very accommodating and friendly and efficient.

Had to pay for breakfast, that claimed to be “complimentary “.

My stay was awesome. The room was very clean. The staff was very polite, friendly and professional. We really enjoyed going down for breakfast in the mornings. I was very happy to see Deborah Camacho was still working their. We had an awesome experience with her last year. It was so good to see her again. She was very attentive and was a joy to talk with. She made us feel like family and made sure we had whatever we needed. In a world like we live in today, you don't see this kind of service much anymore. She has an "old school" kind of charm, which was very refreshing. We look forward to coming back next year .Rocky at the front desk was very professional and pleasant. She made us feel very welcome.

The property is very clean, location is super convenient to everything. Beds are spacious and very comfortable. Food in the restaurant is delicious.

The parking is very limited at the hotel but there is off site parking that is across the street. Also, the beach is u see construction right now but you can still access it down below the hotel.
