Everything else. Explain to me how you charge a customer $75 for a dog (registered therapy dog) on a room that was only $88. Then add on a $25 damage deposit. What exactly was the $75 for. I will no longer be a Tru customer. The La Quinta was $25 for pets

Not one thing was liked about this hotel!

Terrible but at least clean. It felt like a hospital room with NO comfort. No smart tv for ANY apps whatsoever. TV is intentionally on “demo mode” with adds constantly covering different areas of the screen. We will never stay at a Tru property again.

Great location right off the highway, clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

This is a newer hotel. The rooms are comfortable and are not overly decorated and furnished. The staff was friendly, proffessional and welcoming.

This was a nice stay, no complaints.

It was a first time staying at a Tru by Hilton hotel. I thought the room was beautiful and the area in the lobby to meet others was impressive.

Towels were stained. Toiletries were hard to access. Pet fee was excessive for the area.

Customer service, was not told of pet fee prior to booking hotel, and TV did not work in room.

Outdated hotel (elevators, hallways, etc.). Rooms have been slightly upgraded.

Fairly new so the state of disrepair and uncleanliness was not as bad as it will be in a few years of things keep going the way they are.

Dirty/Noisy/Disrepair. Room items (soap, etc) empty, breakfast/coffee station items were constantly empty. Staff had to be "encouraged" (not just by me but I witnessed the same by other guests) to do anything other than just sit there with their phone.

The location and the brand name are appealing to us at the time of room reservation.

We had a 2-night stay here. On day 1, the shampoo in the shower ran out, and a mini refrigerator did not work. On day 2, there was no cleaning or change of towels. Besides, we were charged $75 for a pet (the extra fee was not disclosed at their website).

No carpet in the room. Reasonably priced.

The staff wasn?t friendly.

Everything was great in the common areas, there were helpful suggestions of what to do in the area in the hallways and room was cute.

Only negative was some towels were stained, and one with a cigarette burn but that wad minor.

55" tv was great! I loved the soap dispensers and walk-in shower! The Continental breakfast had a variety of options. The cleaning staff was wonderful!

My room had a very noisy mini fridge. I unplugged it. It would have been nice to have a dresser. The toilet paper wasn't nice. It was coarse.

Nice size TV. Very happy to see movie channels available. I stay in a lot of Hilton properties that charge alot more and have very basic channels to view TV at night.

The room was small. Hot water went quick in the morning while showering.

Decent place for a 1-2 night stay. The room is a minimalist (no closet and bulky furniture but almost everything you would need for a short trip is there. The beds were comfortable and we sleep well. My kids loved the pancake maker during breakfast.

No microwave and coffeemaker in the room but the lobby has it available. We were at the 1st floor so we don¿t mind it much. Only 3 pillows per bed (we like hugging pillows). No bath mat so it could get messy after shower.

I like the feel of the hotel and the staff was great

Again, the staff. Tru by Hilton has impressed me with their staffs each time I stayed at one. The staff in Roanoke were helpful with local information and just plain friendly.
