Hampton Inn Roanoke/Hollins-I-81

Location

Room was accessible for hearing impaired and I needed accommodations for mobility.

The room was spacious and clean.

The hallway lighting was very dark.

Everyone was professional and very pleasant from the staff to house keeping, the breakfast was good and food was fresh. I will stay there again

Great location and the staff was outstanding.

The room had an odor.

The bed sheets in our King room at the Hampton Inn are always very soft. The room needs renovation however, expecially with those prices. We both enjoy the complimentary breakfast.

Location, very clean, pet friendly, easy access, free water, the best shower I¿ve ever had in a hotel.

The Staff.

This Hampton Inn did not meet our expectations. We stayed in this hotel many times over the past decade but this time we were disappointed. It used to be one of the better places to stay among the same class hotels. Not now. If we need to book a hotel

The room was clean and comfortable and located right near Rte. 81.

There were a group of college girls staying in rooms on our floor and they made a lot of noise in the halls for several hours. The price of $--- per room is too high.

The set-up of the room was perfect for us; there was a recliner in the corner to watch TV and the bathroom was way to the right of the beds so that when I woke up earlier than my husband, the light did not disturb him.

The hotel needs to be renovated; everything including the carpet, need to be updated. They were also very dark in color.

Nothing worked on second floor , no ice or working vending

Bugs, smelly and in need of repairs.

The hotel was very convenient with my journey home as well as being clean and the staff members were very friendly. In addition i was handed my room key upon entering the hotel.

Personel was friendly

I wanted a room with a whirlpool tub in it. The tub had 6 jets but only 2 worked. Disappointed

When given the choice when travelling, I always seek out a Hampton Inn. Their chain is consistent in cleanliness, friendliness and usually in a good location.

Location to highway

Beds too small. Pillows lumpy

The location and quietness of the hotel is the best quality.

The carpet was sticky; my room had no shower curtain, which was quickly replaced by the hotel staff; the door to room 137, a handicapped room, is extremely hard to open. Feather pillows should preferrably be hypo-allergenic pillow materials.

I have a mild hearing impairment, so I reserved a room for hearing impaired clients hoping it would guarantee I had have a TV with closed captioning. It did, but it was set to Spanish - which was useless for me - and there wasnt a way to reset the lang

The staff was friendly.

The hotel was clean but could use a facelift. It was very dreary in the room we stayed in.

Clean and quiet and HVAC works well. Staff very friendly. Breakfast bar food kept fresh all the time--attendants very diligent.

Indoor pool right next to lobby not exactly pleasant to the nose when you first walk in (chlorine). But, it is NOT a problem.
