Hampton Inn Gainesville-Haymarket

This hotel was among one of my favorite Hilton properties to date. Excellent location, an abundant shopping/dining area within walking distance, extremely clean and well kept, extremely polite employees and comfortable beds! We will be back next year!

When we checked into the hotel, we were given the wrong room. When the key card did not work, a maid who was nearby let us into the room. Imagine our surprise when a couple opened the door as they had been assigned to the room.

Very convenient to shipping, restaurants, and hwys. Surprisingly quiet in the room considering the location.

The train tracks that are literally right next to the hotel. All though the train didn't pass often, you definitely knew when it was passing by.

The room was comfortable and nice and had everything we needed

The fridge was turned off when we arrived. We put some things in it, not realizing the fridge was turned off, and they spoiled. the fridge should be on when the guest arrives. The breakfast was running out of items including cups, syrups, etc.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly

did not realize a train runs right ext to the property. it is quite loud

Right next to train tracks, train passed frequently until just after midnight.

Able to check in early

Breakfast bar needs more options and coffee was in lobby. No trays to be able to take food to sitting area.

Room needed updating. Worn chase inside room. Paint chipped everywhere.

Great staff. Good location for what we had to do. Walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. Free parking and breakfast.

Pool was closed and there was no daily cleaning service allegedly due to covid. I don't care the my bed was not made but we had to bag our own trash each day & request towels. I think that this hotel is taking the covid excuse to the extreme.

It's in a good location for the Jiffy Lube Live venue and close to restaurants.

The staff members were awful. We were enjoying the common space in the lobby and they kept shooting us nasty looks and coming over and threatening us. We honestly weren't that loud. I just think they enjoy the space to themselves in the evening.

The entire place was very clean and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The information book in the room was very helpful and answered all the questions we had.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel upon arrival. I expected it ti be average at best. We were greeted pleasantly by the staff, our room felt oversized(we unexpectedly had 3 adults in the King room and the pull ot sofa came in handy)

Stayed here one night while attending a show at Jiffy Lube Live. It was excellent for that purpose. Breakfast the next a.m. was crucial.

The room was extremely clean upon arrival. Will at the front desk was very helpful when we checked in. They were very accommodating with our early check-in request! Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel exceeded expectations in the cleanliness, hospitality of staff and the complimentary breakfast. The hotel was exceptionally clean, with some remodeling having just taken place. There is a great little walking mall across and larger stores close.

As stated in the other reviews, this hotel is right next to a highway and and train. If you are sensitive to noise when you sleep, you may want to think twice. We were not bothered by the outside noise at all, and we were three rooms down from that end.

Vicinity to Jiffy Lube Live.

You can hear the train, but it isn't terribly loud. I liked that they informed us about it at check and advised there were ear plugs in the room.

the staff is super friendly and helpful. the breakfast is amazing...not like the same ol boring stuff in other hotels. the rooms and hotel in general are super clean.
