Waterside Inn Chincoteague Island

The bay view was exceptional.

The room was laid out poorly. The sofa was superfluous. Ice buckets, coffee machines and cups cluttered the second sink counter. Only a small dresser. Breakfast was dreadful. Limited breakfast choices: grey turkey sausages, scrambled eggs and waffles.

Good location beautiful waterfront view.

A bit dated, breakfast was gross.

The location and views. Access to the dock was a nice plus. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The front desk clerk was very sweet when we checked in.

The room was dingy. There was a lack of TP and towels. When more towels for using the hot tub were requested the staff on duty was rude and standoffish. She provided me less than requested and asked for our bath towels in exchange. It was off putting.

all staff were excellent except the breakfast employee she was not a pleasant lady at all either morning. acted like she hated her job and people in general. i heard others complaining about her at the pool. otherwise all good

Location, location, location. Also, the view was awesome. The "to go" breakfasts were pretty good and we took advantage of them every morning. It was too chilly to enjoy the swimming pool when we were there but I loved it being near the water.

I'm not a picky person so I found the hotel to be a great deal for the price we paid. We will plan on staying here again.

Carpet was so gross in our room! After our showers we walked without shoes on and the bottoms of our feet were brown within minutes!!! Don't walk barefoot in the rooms!

Great location. Room was clean and neat, albeit a bit outdated. Nice deck allowed water views. Room was a nice size and included a small table and loveseat, which was very nice. Staff were very nice.

The hotel has a no smoking policy, but the people staying next to us were smoking weed every day, which of course permeated our room as well. I realize it can be hard to police that sort of thing, but it was very annoying, and we had to buy a candle.

The whole property was a no smoking facility.....you couldn't even smoke on the balcony. My husband had to go sit in the car to smoke. The upstairs neighbor sounded like they had lead shoes on when they walked....you could hear every creak when walkin

Beautiful view and grounds. Reasonably priced hotel.

Had trouble getting the remote to operate TV. The furniture is old. The carpet was vacuumed but it was time to shampoo. The beds were a bit uncomfortable.

We had the best view of the ocean. It was very quite and the staff was beyond friendly.

I liked the location, the pier, the swimming pool, the room size worked well, I liked that the room had a microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, balcony, and couch. It was enough room for us.

I didn't like the covid 19 breakfast grab bags, especially for the high room cost per night, it was under whelming & cheap. Cheerios or Fruit Loops, apple, muffin and water. If it was not Covid 19 times, maybe it would have been better?

Clean room, great free breakfast, courteous staff. Amazing views of the bay with a nice fishing pier. Swimming pool was large and not crowded.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean and a good size. Great value. Breakfast and free wi-fi is a nice bonus.

Great location with beautiful views of the water. The free breakfast was pretty good. We had a 3 night stay which was very peaceful and very much appreciated. The swimming pool was a welcome respite from the humidity and very well maintained.

I would have liked more handicap accessible ramps not stairs. I'm facing hip surgery soon and my ankles are rolling in along with degenerative arthritis. There was quite a few stairs to navigate and my room was on the second floor, wished I'd known sooner

This is my 17th year in Chincoteague, we usually rent a house. If we are ever in need of a motel again this would be our first choice.

The location was perfect. We liked that it had a dock and fish cleaning table. Having a free breakfast was awesome.

wished the refrigerator/freezer was one with a separate freezer compartment. We found a container of leftovers in the back of our refrigerator. Would like an early breakfast for fishermen. We leave between 5 and 6 to get a spot on the beach.

This hotel has a quiet location, a great water view, and very convenient to attractions. The pool was heated and available any time of the day or evening. Their free, full breakfast was delicious and their staff was extremely helpful. Great value!!
