Comfort Inn Salt Lake City Downtown

The receptionist had a really bad attitude ,the way she treated us ! I told her if she had a problem with us staying there she can cancel the reservation she said she was having a bad day! Really bad customer service I would not recommend

Stayed there for more than a week. The ac sucked and leaked in the closest/sink area. Entire bus load of India people came in at 10:00pm and woke everyone up making so I just checked out at that time. Not happy

Beds were comfortable. The young Mexican girl at the buffet on Thurs Dec 5 was doing an exceptional job of keeping everything stocked and tables cleaned. I appreciated her extra effort.

Carpets could have been cleaner.

Location to downtown. Breakfast was good.

Air conditioning didn’t work good. Was high 70’s at night. In morning it was cooler outside. There were homeless people hanging out in parking lot at night.

Good location, reasonable price

No heat. Borrowed space heater and when I plugged it in blew the circuit breaker

The beds were nice

Someone had left a big bag of garbage right in front of our door and it smelled really gross. The bathroom door wouldn't shut either.

It was centrally located to everything we wanted to do in downtown Salt Lake. The room was spacious.

The overall property was dirty. Broken doors and windows. Dirty windows. Overflowing trash. No heat on in the building despite weather being in the mid 50?s. Our room was never warmer than 61. And heat was controlled as a building not individual room.

Out dated, front desk staff could have been more helpful . There is a motel 6 right behind the hotel a lot of homeless people hang out there.

It was very clean.

No air conditioning. They gave us a box fan to use which helped a little but it was still over 90 degrees in the room.

It was easy to find.

The staff were rude and unhelpful from check in to check out. I didn't get the room I requested. The ceiling in the bathroom was leaking heavily with water. Staff would not offer a refund for any of the trip when I attempted to check out early.

Pet friendly. Rooms were mostly clean. Free breakfast.

I took my dog out at night and the sprinklers were on over the pet area. I took my dog out next morning and the sprinklers were on again.

wish there was a freezer in the fridge to re-freeze our lunch cooler blocks.

Friendly staff

The blower from the AC makes a lot of noise, does not work well and the bathroom was not cleaned well.

I like the continental breakfast on the second floor. The hotel was clean and in a great location.

Our air conditioning was not working when we arrived, the front desk person was short and irritated. The room never did get cool. Dog across the hall howling until 1 am.

The location, speed of checkin and out

Could not provide the heat we requested. It seemed cold the whole stay.

Wanted a pool or hot tub for long trip. Pool and hot tub were on line. Not at this hotel. Small print said no to both.

I actually no privacy with the curtains cuz all they had was the White transparent lens they didn't have no dark ones that you could cover your windows with so everybody can see it

Floors and bathroom were not cleaned very well.

Good location, close to the freeway.

The HVAC did not have an "auto" mode, just heat or AC. The problem was with the heat turned down it still went to 75-degrees. Turned to AC is would not cool. 

They finally had the heat on on day #2 of my stay.

After checking in I learned that there was no heat. They brought a portable heater into my room. They offered to take a small amount of money off my bill, then ended up charging me double. I went through hell to get it straightened out.
