Texas Inn - Welasco/Mercedes

Nothing, worst room i havr ever stayed in.

Room 103 had bed bugs on both beds, chamged to room 109 and the floors were filthy, had bot been swept or mopped. Was trash under the beds along with a sticky liquid. Never go to this hotel.

the property is not clean at all. the tub is very dirty and it is not very well taken care off.. if they just did some house cleaning deep cleaning and make everything smell fresh it would be ok..

The staff was wonderful and very professional. They took care of my concerns quickly and efficiently.

The ice machine was not working so I wasn't able to get ice. The original room that I booked was dirty. I stayed two nights and the first morning there was no continental breakfast. I didn't expect much but something would have been better. The second morning it was fine.

I've always rented here but this last time it looked run down needs an up dated locks on door don't work .

No towels in shower. And water went off as I was showering had to wait 30 minutes

Will never stay again

The bed felt like there was something biting us thankfully I had a blanket I laid over everything. The room looked like it had not been cleaned, there was dirt built up.

Bed was uncomfortable, no box spring. Breakfast was a joke, no hot food, no eggs, no waffles, no bacon, no sausage, no biscuits. Had to have a PB & J on toast. The people upstairs were up all night stomping around (but I don't hold that against the staff).

Blood on ceiling, cigarette burns on bed comforter, tables and staff was never available not even at check in.

My girlfriend and I came to weslaco for a wedding. The first room we were given had black mold on the ceiling and walls we immediately went to the front desk and they changed the room for us without any hassle. The next room we had was ok but there were stains on the towels and top sheet. Lack of any kind of bleach smell on any linens really. And on Friday night it was quite loud throughout the night into the early morning with other guests parting in thier room next to ours. In the morning of our checkout we found a dead cockroach in the bathtub.

Showers weren’t working. , tv was broken , microwave was broken pool was dirty

The location

Hair in the sink. Dirt in the corners of the bathroom and very trashy outside. Advertised breakfast and there was none. We could of picked somewhere else cheaper if we knew there was no breakfast. Put us in a smoking room and it smelled. Didn't know there were still smoking rooms.

Checked in my room and wasn’t cleaned. Empty beer cans and food everywhere

Beds were comfortable.

Hot water ran out before I could finish showering. Website said breakfast included but there was no breakfast.

These people rob me. I was only renting room for pool and it wasn’t available.

the bathtub water was not draining properly, and the curtain rod fell off the wall.

Too many druggies knocking on your door at 3 o'clock in the morning. Looking for their drug dealer., The furniture is all rustic. On top damage mirror was cracked. And something really on it.,People in the pool that doesn't even have a room there. Barbecue in by the motel., very loud. They rent one room and Invite the whole family there., They leave no parking for the ones that do have room,

It's was close to the Cemetery, Where we have to go.

We liked that it was a smoking room but didn't smell like smoke. We liked the location and the guy that checked us in.

Upon arriving, there were 5 dead roaches on the floor. The AC had not been turned on prior. The soap that is used for showering - it doesn't lather. We were actually afraid to touch anything until I wiped it all down with germ wipes. The toilet seat had several burn marks/holes on it and the bed was horrible. We could feel the box springs coming through the bed and I'm almost positive there was something living IN the mattress. I could feel it moving. We've stayed here once before this year, but I don't think we'll be coming back after this trip

The personnel is very nice and friendly. The woman who made my check-inn was super patient cause I didn't understand the procedure to change my room, she was very patient and helpful, and always nice. Everyone is very friendly and nice, the room super clean, the pool was very nice too.
