Aloft by Marriott Austin Round Rock

The staff was so nice and welcoming. My team had been on the road for weeks and they let us check in an hour early which we greatly appreciated!!

My team was there in town for a water damage and mold insurance claim, and my bathroom clearly had a water leak, every time I stepped on on it I could hear the water and smell the mildew. This is off putting because I know the danger MOLD poses.

The staff was helpful and proactive

This was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in for years. Stains all over the walls, broken door lock that staff warned me about, holes in the wall, pillows that smelled like sweat, cracked and moldy shower with broken faucet handle, rusty table.

The rooms were modern, large, and comfortable!

The location. Very close to Pflugerville. Had a very nice bar inside and a billiards table. Pool area looked very nice and the fitness center was big and clean.

The room was a bit small, very little storage space. The shower had no shelves for anything like your own personal shampoo or a bar of soap - of course, they have the squirt bottles but if you don't want to use those, it's difficult.

Sheets had stains on them as well as stains on the comforter, and shower walls was dirty.Had to have housekeeping come clean and change the bedding. Coffee/breakfast area was dirty as well.

The woman checking us in at the night desk was helpful and friendly.

The hotel is not that old but already needs update. Hallway walls were scuffed and needed painting. Inside room the bathroom floors and walls were chipped, and the room needed a good vacuum and wipe down.

It¿s quiet and the rooms are like lofts.

The beds were hard, there was a cricket in the bathroom and i wish the windows opened i felt barricaded in

Nothing really, I won't be back.

Multiple issues with the room. There was blue liquid leaking from the door stop compressor. They replaced it while I was at work and left gouges in the ceiling. The mirror was cracked, shower handle was leaky, and they do not have a microwave available.

The gym was nice, and the hotel staff was attentive.

My room was very dusty. It seemed as though the floor hadn¿t been cleaned in quite sometime.

Location

Felt dirty. Hallways smelled and carpet looked like it hadn¿t been cleaned in months.

Room was not very good for the price. Staff was ok. Good just to sleep but nothing special at all.

Check in was quick.

New, nice, quiet. Nice to have a bar there in the lobby.

No free breakfast, no microwave in the rooms, but neither is a big deal. Loved the free AM coffee.

I like that I get attended fast.

I got a room that the shower did not work so I had to move to another room. After an all day out and swimming outside having to move all of our stuff to another room was exhausting. Having to move little kids around doesn¿t help the situation.

This hotel has easy access from the highway. Staff was friendly. Lobby was bright and inviting. Our bed was comfortable. Shower was great!!

Our room was facing the highway and the street noise was noticeable. The doors are loud when they close and thus anytime a someone came in or left from their room, you could hear it all hours of the night. The pool is very small and it was busy!

It was new and clean. We liked the pool table.

The dim, bluish hue lighting is depressing. The air conditioners don't take out much of the humididty, so the air is cold and wet.

Consistent with Aloft brand, nice design work, sophisticated, good staff and clean.

Location was great!

Check-in sucked. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the front to check me in. I even called twice while I was standing at the front waiting. I expected the room to be cleaner considering we are still in Covid. The high touch points were dirty!

The room is modern and spacious. The bed is low to the ground but comfortable.

Couldn¿t find a vending machine. There may have been one, I just couldn¿t find it.

Hubby was tired from driving from Chicago and needed a break so I looked for a reasonably price to stay and nice. He was thrilled and LOVED the beer the checkin guy gave him!

Great style, location and decor. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Offered assistance and really made you feel as though they care. Check in was quick and easy and check out was prompt and took about 2 min.

The walls are quite thin, I could hear people walking in the hallway and the person upstairs made me feel like they were coming through the ceiling really early in the morning.
