Pros +
- Comfortable beds, nice balcony, beautiful view of the river and wildlife from all areas of the property- herons, egrets, ducks/ducklings, fish and turtles. Kind and helpful staff. Good food and drinks. Hotel employee at the bar/restaurant was amazing!
- Beautiful decor, wonderful location on the creek, live music Saturday night that was the right vibe for the evening.
- The retro vibe and secluded feeling location were fun and novel.
Cons -
- Hmm, the bar is a little too expensive to draw a crowd or go just for drinks. We had one drink each then went to the main street to have another that was, honestly, just as tasty, but the tab was 1/3 less, so we decided not to go back after dinner.
- The lobby is crampt if more than one guest is in there. You'll definitely need a car to properly explore Austin from here. The staff were aloof.
- The only thing and this was mentioned by numerous guests was that the rooms do not have chairs or anywhere to sit inside the room. They do have two chairs and a small table on the balcony.

How quaint and quiet it was. It was a little off the beaten path, but that was okay with us. It was very well kept and right on Brushy Creek in Round Rock.

The room decor, friendly staff and balcony/view.
After midnight, there was a man hanging out with a backpack acting a little strangely under the string lights. We had to go near him to get to our room. Plus NO ELEVATOR!!
The patio overlooking the water. Bartender was friendly
Trash outside of the balcony. The room temperature was warm and you could not lower it. The bed sheets/blanket were damp. Bed was very hard. We both woke up sore
Rooms were gorgeous, lots of thoughtful touches to make the stay more pleasant. And the view looking over the creek was amazing. Staff was all pleasant and seemed to love the hotel.
Very quiet and peaceful. The place has a cool mid-century vibe.
Beautifully designed rooms and awesome views from balcony.
Very unique and fun.
The water pressure in the shower was very disappointing.
Great location and cool atmosphere
Location, charm, atmosphere, you name it.
Not really.
Loved the decor and layout. Was very cute ? The Restaurant/Bar was very cozy and we enjoyed our evening there.
The shower is a complete liability! Flooring made from SLICK backsplash tiles with zero friction. My girlfriend slipped and hurt hip and sprained her foot. Also, there was only a quarter roll of toilet paper when we checked in. Minor issue. But very important.

We didn't eat breakfast there but the place was awesome. The staff were so kind and they were so nice, and the place had a great creek view.
The location was a little sketchy. It's in a neighborhood rather than a commercial setting. Theneighborhood needs a little bit of an upgrade. Cars are parked in the yard and a lack of home maintenance gave us acause for concern. The grounds and the ambience of the hotel was very neat and quaint. A special little place. Kyle was very helpful and very cordial. He went out of his way to accommodate my son's request to print some music forhis upcoming band tryout. Don't be afraid to book this hotel. You will be quite surprised! The initial trepidation was overwhelmingly surpassed by the quaint, tucked in hideaway with many sprinkles of care. We would definitely book again.
The only thing that could've been better is out of the control of the hotel. The surroundings to be brought up to par tomatch the hotel. It's a shame the hotel is skirted by properties of shanty.

Its staff.
No hot water during our stay. We informed the front desk but nothing was done…
It made a lovely change to stay at a boutique hotel in the middle of countryside. We have been travelling around Texas for a couple of weeks and this was a great change from all the major/large hotel groups.
Nothing. It was all great!
We arrived earlier than expected. So we checked out the beautiful property, grabbed a couple of iced teas in the Ruby Bar (very cool!) and played a couple of games while waiting for our room. King Suite was lovely, as was the River View from our patio. Very clean, modern rooms with large showers and bath robes (always a nice plus). We hit the Ruby Bar later that night after our afternoon plans. Great atmosphere with live music that is not overpowering. I recommend the Old Fashioned. ?
