    Pros +

    • New owners were very nice, and apologetic over the mix up. It was not their fault.
    • Just the best-kept secret in Madisonville and a short drive to College Station. A beautifully restored turn of the 20th century home that welcomes you with its warmth the moment you step in. Michael and his staff are highly attentive and very welcoming. They located some prescriptions my mother-in-law had left behind and made sure they got to her ASAP.
    • Sunday brunch was fabulous. Complimentary continental breakfast was good with lots of options. Facilities were absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Very accommodating for a large group. Everything was very clean. Restaurant food was absolutely delicious and very good value for money.Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay extremely enjoyable. Will definitely be back soon!

    Cons -

    • The Hotel has been sold and closed since last year. The new owners are in the process of remodeling. They said we were about the 30th couple, who had reservations. They said they had told the previous owners to notify all scheduling services.
    • Was not clear that there restaurant did not serve breakfast. There is a kitchenette upstairs stocked with snacks and drinks, but was looking forward to a full breakfast that wasn't available. Not a deal breaker by any means.
    • Nothing at all!!

There is a kitchen on second floor that offers you everything, drinks in fridge, oatmeal, fresh fruit & breakfast sandwiches in freeezer. It was very nice - there is a breakfast buffet on Sunday that was delicious. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The owners were also very accommodating and the Inn was beautifully decorated and very clean. We will be staying at this location again. Thank you for your service, welcoming demeanor and making our stay very comfortable. June Englert

My daughter and I stayed after touring the wedding venue. Mr. Michael and staff were extremely accommodating. We were able to check in early, which was very helpful. The room we stayed in met my expectations as these are quite high. The restaurant and food were excellent. Overall, stay was a very quiet and wonderful ambiance.

It was beautiful. Easily accessible. Charmingly decorated for Christmas. Denise was so warm and kind. Made us feel very welcome.

    Nothing it was perfect.

I loved all the beautiful Christmas decor and relaxing music. It was such a nice place for solatude from the busy large city of Dallas.

I didn't like that we couldn't get the breakfast buffet until 11:00. We had to get back to the Dallas area and we knew traffic would be really bad. We had to skip breakfast and I was really sad about that. It would have been nice to have it earlier so I could experience the cuteness of the Victorian breakfast buffet.

We had to leave early in the morning, so did not get to stay for the Sunday breakfast. However, we made coffee and had pastries in the kitchenette and ate in the beautiful living room. The attention to detail in the hotel is amazing.

    Liked everything.
