Hyatt Place Lubbock

Nothing I didn't not enjoy the stay there this time at all. & we spoke with 5 different staff members nothing got fixed

We have stayed there before & this time it was horrible. I did let 5 staff members know about the yuck on the wall & the door that looked like someone had broken into the room previous (I have pictures of you would like to see them) #328 was horrible

Good sized room and hot breakfast.

Shower had no body wash gel.

My room could use a cosmetic upgrade. It's a little dated. The window shade was old.

The AC was quiet. Good location.

The mattress needs to be replaced.

This is a clean hotel with a friendly staff!

Beds are a little hard and they did not mention the $7 fee for parking at check-in.

The sliding door to the toilet/shower was difficult to open and close

The location was perfect for exploring the university. The lobby area was clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly.

The location was perfect near for us and the TTU stadium. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the was great continental breakfast included.

The fixtures, fit and finish in the room is beginning to look dated.

Room was dirty. Stains on floors, dirty towel, dusty and yellow stuff on light switch in restroom. Overall felt so dirty. Had to get staff to clean it but even then it was done well.

There was no warm water in the hotel. I heard several complain about it at breakfast yet staff would not admit it. Staff did say they would give me points. Not why I mentioned it.

The fact that the fire alarm went off at 6:15 in the morning and woke my entire family up because of some burnt toast.

It smelled like a gas leak. They assured me there wasn't one but it was a very horrible rotten egg smell and caused my family to get sick

Bathroom was dirty, looked like they only replaced what was used, didn¿t even clean sink or shower. Beds are hard and uncomfortable, Top blankets looked dirty.

I was not notified that housekeeping had to be requested at check-in, so it was 4 days before my trash was emptied and linens refreshed. There was also not a desk lamp at the desk so working there was difficult as it was quite dark.

The staff was exceptional! Everyone that I came into contact with was welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

We have stay at this location approximately four times now over the course of 3 years. Over that period, I have noticed that the cleanliness of the hotel has deteriorated with each visit. More specifically, the bathrooms and dining tables in the lobby.

There were no sanitation wipes in the fitness room, or hand sanitizer.

Very nice, comfortable bed, great breakfast! Overall a great stay and would stay here again!

My only complaint would be the cleaner they use to clean the rooms is VERY strong and there was hair left in the shower from a previous occupant!

The room was clean and well organized. Also the house keeping had a nice touch with leaving a kind note about our stay. Thanks Sheila!
