Extended Stay America Select Suites - Lubbock - West

Leaving after only one night.

Mold in the shower. No toilet paper in the room. Stained bed sheets. Long black hairs found in the bed sheets. No overnight staff until 10 AM the next day. Drug users seen in the hallways and in the parking lot. Hotel doors slamming throughout the night.

It was available the night George Strait was in Lubbock.

I was not expecting a sparsely furnished halfway house out of a prison movie.

Leaving the room and going home to sleep

Hearing everything. The door slamming people talking a baby crying all night

Cleanliness, great help from the front desk after I broke my phone. House keeping, maintenance, front desk people were all awesome. Thank you all!

the beds were uncomfortable. the price, floors in room was dirty. a/c and heater was not good.

The location was not far from attractions.

There was no room service provided. Changing sheets, new towels, refil soap. There was only one bar of soap provided for both the shower and bathroom sink. Staff constantly disturbed me regarding the checkout time. Did not make me feel welcome.

Non smoking room reeked of smoke. Bathroom was not fully cleaned. Bed was horrific, felt every spring in the mattress.

Surprisingly quiet

They tried every morning to just walk straight into my room like an hour to hour n a half before checkout time.

Staff was great !

Not what I expected from the pictures . It was so bad I ended deciding to sleep in my car instead. Bed sheets super old and had hairs on them , the smell in the room was highly unpleasant. Didn¿t even shower but the bathtub looked so old and just ugh

There were multiple technical difficulties with building and room access controls. We gave up after a horrible attempted check-in experience, demanded a refund, and went elsewhere.

Tv barely worked. No extras such as complementary shampoo etc. but biggest negative was our room was next to the front door which banged closed loudly every time someone went in or out. This began at 4:30 AM and continued past 7:30 AM at almost constantly

There was blood in the room on the bed and towels and it was not the room I booked

That the room was cold when I got there and stayed cold the entire time I was there

There was a dirty towel in the bathroom when we checked in. The front staff didn’t seem all that concerned. The beds were not queen but full size and hard as a rock. It wasn’t comfortable at all even for a 2 star place

There was a dirty washcloth behind the door. It was overbooked and we had to take a smaller room. We almost had no room at all and then they tried to give us a smoking room. We cannot tolerate that. It is possible they charged us twice on our credit car

Location, in town for graduation. Few min from the University.

Room was very dirty, old bar of soap left in the tub, dust everywhere, roaches, etc.

The price

You get what you pay for. Note that when it lists non-smoking as an amenity, that does not guarantee you will be in a non-smoking room. Apparently those are first come first serve. This is not stated in the hotel policies or on the site. Smells everywhere

I don't like that I have to smoke in my car I feel smoking should be available.
