Aloft by Marriott Katy Mills

Took 30 minutes of waiting in line to get a room. Rude front desk. I don’t think they knew what they were doing. Booked a King bed. I got a two queen room. I was so frustrated with the check in process I didnt bother trying to get a king. Avoid Aloft

Comfortable bed . Very bright! Shower was amazing . Towels were cleaned and smelt good! Shampoos and body wash was great! Gave face lotion also felt refreshing!

Room- Bed

Poor lighting in room. All black Doors and hallways were extremely creepy. I did not like and had nightmares all night there. Also I selected the hotel because of bar/restaurant but they both were closed for inventory which was not disclosed. Refund

The room was clean.

The room was very small and had a strange layout. The TV had to be on a swivel to even see it. When I checked in the receptionist had music blaring and that wasn't inviting at all. The bed squeaked. There was also a strange smell in the room.

Price

Not clean. No cream for coffee. Just had Coffeemate.

Elevator was not working. Hotel decided to give us the highest floor even though we had a child with us.

All bad. Hotel requested me to pay for room at checking but room was prepaid. Elevators not working. Phones not working. Staff at front desk demosntrated zero attentiveness of willingness to help. They just stated that I could choose not to check-in.

It smelled good

No complimentary breakfast, the room look sad, no microwave, no dresser

Location

No water pressure, dirty room, loud music all day until 8pm

Location to hospital

No bathroom doors, shower floor dangerously slick, 1 person on desk any shift, lost reservation

it had a snack place, it was right by Katy Mills, a lot of eateries around. the hotel itself was cute they also had a bar.

i wish they had more outlets the charge things.

room size and staff friendliness

TV in living room had no remote and did not work Very poor internet connection TV in bedroom could only pick up about 5 channels Did not see free breakfast located in parking lot of a mall

The location was great, the room was clean and the staff were wonderful.

The hotel advertised breakfast but there wasn't any, only an option to buy creal milk and juice. Some of the channels on the TV guide were not in service and for the ones that were available you had no idea what was being aired.

It looked really nice

It did not have anything I wanted. It advertised continental breakfast on the website and even on their tvs in the room but they did not offer it, the staff never got bar house right and were not willing to accommodate anything.

tv was not working had to get repaired/a/c &heat never worked was a problem stay/now/ water pressure was terrible/ no hot water/told front desk never addressed situtation/ website showed they had nice breakfast/no breakfast of any kind/no bar service/

this hotel was terrble i have stayed at 500 plus hotels this was worst.The only thing about hotel was location is good/never stay there again/lot hotels with in 2 miles of this hotel/front desk girl told me problems for 8 months/ she was nice felt bad !

The hotel and room was very clean and felt safe.

The complimentary breakfast was only muffins.

The room's minimalist general layout. Good mattress. Nice mini fridge. Nice lobby. Facing Mall area. Window screen, pretty convenient.

Unfriendly front desk on the night I arrived. Very loud, poor insulation. No cold water in the shower, big pile of water under sink. No liquid soap to wash hands, only travel size bar soap. Damp Kleenex box. Pillow with broken zipper. Shower, dirty floors

I booked 2 queen beds for room and upon arrival they had given all double rooms away so our son had to sleep on the tiny half couch in the room. They also had no roll away beds. The bar was also never open, we were in town celebrating 21st birthday.
