WorldMark Hunt - Stablewood Springs Resort

The location and the rooms were big and has all the amenities we needed.

The floors were dirty and the ice machine was not working.

It was located in the Texas Hillcountry and it offered beautiful views and so serene.

There's no sign off of the highway to the hotel so we had a little bit of trouble finding it.

My husband and I took our two kids to Stablewood Springs in Hunt, Texas, for their birthday trip. My kids have a 10-year age gap, so it's not easy to find something that they both enjoy. This property had everything we needed to entertain both kids. The local town and attractions also appealed to kids and adults alike.

I didnt like that I only booked three days. I wish we could have stayed longer. Next time, we will!

Fabulous view of the hills from the spacious balcony and windows. Beautiful hill country decor. Nicely equipped kitchen and bath with shower and separate soaking tub. Makeup mirror in the bath was a nice touch.

The murphy bed untucks the sheets when stowing the bed. And the bed is too low to the ground when set up. Needs to be 6-9" higher, about the size of a box spring.

The staff was efficient, checked in in record time. The concierge had knowledge of the entire surrounding area, pointing us in the direction of everything we needed. Our concerns were addressed immediately. I recommend getting in the hot tub in 40° temperatures, it was wonderful

Driving up the narrow, curved road at night was a little intimidating. I would have felt more comfortable with low lights on the road.

Very clean, great beds and pillows, huge shower, huge balcony, great amenities, friendly staff and great hospitality, loved the decorating style and design of the room

Pull down bed - Did not realize it when booking the room. Also, having to take trash out and washing dishes before leaving was a first (for the price per night paid)

What breakfast?

The roo. Was cold and the bedroom furniture dilapidated. A large clock need the battery changed and when it got cold it was a dit drafty. One corner of the living room area rug was a tripping hazard.

This is our third stay at Stablewood Springs resort and we love the location and amenities. The staff is exceptional!

On this trip we unfortunately found roaches in the toaster and in one of the bathrooms of our suite. The staff quickly exchanged the toaster for a clean one and dis their best to make it up to us for the incident.

This was an beautiful area and the apartment was very clean, spacious and well-appointed. The area is lovely and the pools are wonderful. Check-in and out was very easy and the staff were very helpful. We stayed here to catch the eclipse of 2024 and it was perfect.

It's a bit far from restaurants and other amenities and up a long drive to get there but if you like privacy and quiet, this is a great option.

Pool, gym, accommodation. Clean, spacious, private.

Nice. Would be helpful if they had snack options at the office, such as soft drinks, chips, etc.

Could have used some extra blankets. The room was chilly!!

Everything was great until I went to check out. There was apparently and accounting issue between this property and their accounting group who collected my money upon making my reservations. At the desk, they wanted me to pay again for my stay because there was no record in the computer upon check-out. No questions asked upon check-in. I pulled up my bank account and showed bank card payment several months before. The manager came out and still wanted me to pay again and was very rude. I left without paying again since I had an appointment down the road and I was in there for 45 minutes trying to check out. I told them to call me if they could not figure it out and no one ever contacted me. I usually stay here twice a year, never been an issue like this in last 4 years.

The pool area was beautiful and had gorgeous views of the Hill Country. The kids enjoyed the game room, especially the pool table and giant chess set. It was a very quick trip, we all wished we could have stayed more days.

I could not get the hot water to work in the bathroom sink, it took a very long time to warm up in the kitchen sink, I hate wasting water waiting for it to warm up. I did not like the 10am check out time, 11am is bad enough. I requested an early check in but it was denied. I think it's really bad when you have a 4pm check in and a 10 am check out. You don't get much time for your money.

The grounds, pool and activities were great. Nestled back in the Hill Country, it is a beautiful resort!

The condo was not as clean as we expected. The kitchen chairs all had residue on the cushions, and I called to let them know about it. They said they would send someone to clean them, but it never happened.

I love the location. The views. The quiet.

There was no breakfast.

The wind blew the screen on the window and the dumpster lip was flapping.We had a complaint we were making too much noise while we were asleep.We were awakened by a phone call at 1:15am! When the wind blows there is a lot of noise.

It is secluded with great views! Nobody around that wasn’t staying at the resort as it is a private drive. It is exceptionally clean with newer everything.

It is a little pricey. That’s the only real negative if I had to pick one.
