Sleep Inn & Suites Downtown Houston Near Convention Center

Our AC unit broke during our 4 day stay on the 2nd night, due to an electrical wiring issue the maintenance stated. Sweated all night in our sleep. Slept very uncomfortably. This was not the Texas experience we were looking forward to.

The bed was stink, and I asked if I could change rooms. One of the help desk staff told me she couldn’t change it because I had already made a reservation but isn’t it their job to help with that had the worst night there, Plus, their breakfast terrible.

Stayed here a bunch of times, always clean rooms, breakfast is okay, staff is friendly and efficient.

They recently remodeled the breakfast room and now is smaller of what it already was before, it gets packed at some point in the morning. Not a big variety of food. But is okay for what you pay.

Hotel was very clean, beds were very comfortable. You may want to ask for an additional blanket because you only get 2 sheets. One regular and one decorative. Or, don't turn the air conditioner up (like my daughter did) LOL. Breakfast was disappointing.

Never got there early enuf to get a sausage or bacon. Second day, got there early and everything was gone. Asked attendant if she could refill and she said she didn't have anything else. Don't book for the breakfast.

This hotel was overall in great condition. It was clean, well taken care of, and staffed well.

Breakfast was full one morning. There was hot food that morning. The rest of the week was all cold items and very little of it.

Room was nice¿ more than expected for sure.

Only sheets on the bed. Air was damp & cold with no blankets on the bed.

The room was large, everything was clean & the staff were nice.

The only thing that bugged us were the TV channel options. 12 religious channels, 15 shopping networks, several hispanic channels & 2 HBOs (including HBO Family). So basically - 2 channels. Ridiculous in this day & age to not even offer local programming

Location and early check in convenience. Excellent price.

Due to the "China Virus" Breakfast sandwiches and frozen burritos were adequate but I missed other selections.

The parking was intimidating due to the police car with flashing lights in the parking lot. I wish the mask policy had been enforced more because there of a few folks in the lobby with masks below their chins.

The room smell terrible and the housekeeper lady noisy and there is a lot of noise in the hotel can not even go to sleep. There is trash outside. The parking lot breakfast is bad .The fitnesses center is closed !!!!!!False advertising

Only the hotel location is close to downtown

The Oviedo the front desk desk clerk is very unprofessional and rude. I was paid for a 2 beds And Oviedo the hotel clerk at give me only 1 bed and the hotel room smell bad. False advertising the hotel do not serve breakfast and I paid!

Very nice hotel for the money. The hotel itself isn't fancy, but the rooms were right up there with the premium hotels. Especially liked the mini fridge. Free wifi was nice too. Great value. Will deferential stay there again!

No HBO, even though there was an booklet in the room. Not very good channel selection. Breakfast room locked so impossible to even get a cup of coffee earlier than 7.

Room was updated and clean. Staff was very friendly, and breakfast was way better than expected.

The property seemed to be well-maintained inside and out. The staff was very friendly.

Breakfast area was small, and there was not enough room to sit one day of my stay. I left the area and returned 20 minutes later so I was able to sit down to eat my meal.

5 The noon checkout was nice.

The shampoo and conditioner containers attached ti the shower wall were confusing.
