Downtowner Inns - Houston (Hamilton St.)

Location

Had some lottering in the parking lot during late hours

Excellent location

The room was exceptionally clean and the room was large. The facility was in a walking distance to downtown- Toyota Center, Convention Center, Phoenician Specialty Market and more. The Staff were welcoming.

Close to the highway.

Location is close to the conference venue, comfortable rooms

There can be more breakfast options

I stayed for about two weeks on this Hotel, and I found the location a good value for money. Although the breakfast was scarce and the hotel doesn't provide laundry service, everything else meet and exceed the expectations. The rooms were spark clean and the hospitality of the personnel was really appreciated. Following on my request the gentleman from the reception provided me with an extra table and chair to may be able to work and study on my laptop. Truly appreciated!

Not diversified breakfast, no laundry service.

Good room: spacious, clean, has a fridge and microwave oven. Plenty of parking spots. No deposit fee. Although the hotel doesn't look very cozy from the outside, the rooms were a pleasant surprise - better than expected.

Breakfast ends early (no one announced the time, we didn't check it ourselves, so we were a little late, but nice motel staff let us take snacks and coffee). Don't expect too much for breakfast - there's only oatmeal and cereal. We were traveling with suitcases, so carrying them up the stairs wasn't very comfortable (especially important to disabled people, but perhaps you can get a room on the first floor if you ask).

I liked how clean everything was. Staff were very nice and accommodating. The location was perfect. I also really liked the blue lights. Oh, and housekeeping!

The breakfast was not good.

The friendly staff

I washed my T-shirt and dry it on the stow of the car park right in front of room, and found a few hours later it disappeared. I have lost this shirt.

Clean and close to event

No cable TV.Basic channels

The people were amazing! The location was great. I loved the hot tub in the room, it was perfect for an anniversary weekend. The staff was literally out patrolling to keep everything safe all night, and they were there to help if you needed anything. They've really renovated this place and are taking care in the kind of people that they bring in. So I absolutely recommend it and we're excited to go back again!

The Houston traffic in that area is the only thing that sucks, but not like they can help that haha

Room, bed & cleanings.

Breakfast.

Good location for those who want to be close to the downtown clubs and bars. The staff were friendly. Loved the wall mirror beside the bed.

My towel had someone's long black hair in it. I understand that it is nearly impossible for this not to happen with the amount of guest that come in and out, but this wasn't just a couple strands. I could have made a wig out of the amount of hair on that towel. I stayed there for 3 days and this was only time this happened. All other towels were hair free. I also asked for a non smoking room and my comfortable had several cigarette burn holes. Comforter was also very thin.

Not a thing

The inside was extremely dirty. I had to clean up the sofa and table with my wet tissue. The bathtub drain was clogged and the water won't drain. I saw a cockroach on the floor so I had to go out and sleep in my car. Breakfast? It was a joke. I have a seen many good reviews about this motel, those were all lies.

Very clean and tidy. Good position>

A little noisy. No coffee making facilities in room. Breakfast was a bit basic

Located in midtown so it was close to everything I needed downtown. The room has a nice blue toned night light and side mirror near the bed for intimate time ? Also the soap dispensers in the shower and sink areas were a nice touch .

The door could be somehow fixed or insulated where the highway traffic wasn't as loud.

1. The stuff was nice and helpful2. The room was clean

1. There was no breakfast although included2. The room had heavy smell of cleaning materials. Too much.3. There is nowhere to eat in walking distanceThe inn is next to highway, not fun.

Super comfy bed clean room and quiet

Everything was top notch

It was super clean and well lit up at night

It goes straight onto a large road so not too great for walkers but we managed alright
