AC Hotel Houston Downtown

Hotel employee at the front desk was very welcoming! Wait staff at restaurant very courteous (both eve and morning shifts) Breakfast buffet items are exceptional! Wait staff very courteous! Chef came out too! This hotel has is going on!!

Our car was towed because the hotel did not give clear instructions on where to park since they don't offer parking for their guests

Bed and shower! I was quite impressed. I?ve stayed at 4* hotels but this was a very nice surprise! Definitely would book here again. Staff were very gracious and professional.

It was very nosey and the homeless people around it and people was rude

You have to pay valet OR walk more than a block to find garage parking which they aren?t located in the safest area for all that. THEN they messed up on our valet ticket trying to charge for 2 nights we didn?t arrive until after 10 PM the day of check in.

Blinds would not close. TV didn't work.

Comfy bed, nice stuff, cool modern room. Had Valletta parking. Very few hotels have free parking in that area so it was the normal. Vallet parking was easy and staff was nice.

Arriving late at night with lots of panhandling around the building and having to wait to be buzzed into hotel and then night staff was not particularly friendly.

Cannot remember his name but there is a lovely gentleman working at reception in the afternoon/night. So so helpful and kind. Definitely made the experience less stressful and more enjoyable. Loved dealing with him.

The hotel staff was extremely prompt with requests and very friendly too.

I didn't like the Valet company you use. They were not efficient and kept me waiting for quite sometime when I arrived. I also waited far longer than expected when I requested my vehicle. I felt the wait time was unacceptable in both arrival and departure

The room was really clean. Location was great for everything.

Their refrigerator did not have a freezing function. There was no microwave.

The bed and pillow was very soft I slept so good and the room was very clean

Mask wearing was not enforced in public spaces. Numerous guests in lobby at various times did not wear masks. One staff member partially removed their mask while speaking to me.
