Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston NW at Beltway 8

We prepaid for our room. When we arrived, we were told they had over booked and had given our room away.

Location

No room to room calling. Phones didn't work. No local directory/area information.

Best bang for the buck. Very nice for what it is.

Nope. Other than the location it's a great hotel.

The room was quite large and having a full kitchen was definitely a plus. The free breakfast had plenty of options.

There was often no one at the front desk. And when we called down for an additional towel, soap, and pillows, they stated that there was no one able to bring them to us. We had to walk down and get them ourselves. When we did, we were still short the things we had asked for.

Close to everythingThe pool was nice .Room would have been ok if staff would care more when you tell them about problems that could have been fixed .

We wanted so bad to like it here , since we had to stay a while. We Did not have a good experience, the card did not work on almost all the doors we had to walk all the way around ,got locked out by the pool , went and changed keys and it still didn't work ,it didn't work on our room a few times , and room was so hot.The bed had crumbs, and the floor was so sticky. staff at the desk was never around when you needed something. I had to go across the street to get things we needed when you did find someone they were rude and didn't care when we had a problem. Trash was everywhere, and it smelled really bad.

The room was big, pretty clean overall. Love the full size fridge, nice lighting, water is hot right away, clean and comfortable beds, AC cold!

On the review it’s showing there is “breakfast taco bar”, apparently it isn’t true as the breakfast was mediocre at best.My dishwasher also didn’t work.

Providing a selection of breakfast choices, was very good. Parking lot was a very good size. Able to see the pool from my location was very nice, every day.

Do not book, if you travel for business. They can not add your company adress on the invoice!

Professionalism and the cleanliness of the building.

There is a liquor store across the street that can attract unwanted visitors.

Breakfast was good. The location was a little far from downtown, but we knew that going in (to save money). Hotel was clean, staff friendly.

I got stuck with an electric vehicle by the rental company. Having a charger would have been a nice thing to have.

We were there for 5 nights and my only concern was that there was homeless person sleeping in the lobby and in the breakfast area for last two days. The night before police came and escorted him but next morning we found him sleeping in the breakfast area. With the kids I didn’t feel safe letting them go by themselves anywhere at the hotel property

The fact that it was pet friendly and the staff acknowledged my dogs presence

CLEANER ROOMS

The room and pool were amazing! I spent a lot of time swimming and it was great.

The hallways were always really hot and stuff.

Nice spaceous rooms

Rooms do not get cleaned regularly.Beakfast is very poor. No proper plate and tools. all is plactic & foam :(Fridge is very loud.

The area was ok but other than that I wasn’t satisfied. They had a bug in the room and I have a 2mo. baby. I was on guard because of that. I was uncomfortable the whole stay because I didn’t receive the room I originally booked. They couldn’t accommodate me by switching room because they were booked all up.

I didn’t like how I originally didn’t get my room and on top of that, all the entertainment I thought the hotel had THAT I WAS PAYING FOR…. wasn’t working. When I called to ask questions bout the room days before my stay, I wasn’t told that the gulf section was out of order for what ever reason. Then when I tried to get the fire pit lit he didn’t even try to light it. I was told someone through water in it days prior and he couldn’t get it lit after. Only thing that was up and running was the grill and pool.

Cost and location.

The cleanliness of the room wasn't like before during our last stay back in March. During our March stay I cleaned the floor with a swiffer and it was clean. Did the something this time and it was quite dirty. The room smelled like a cigar. There was no complementary liquid dish soap.

The breakfast was delicious there was a wide variety and it was served hot. The environment was very inviting and the staff was very friendly. Great family place to vacation to.

Nothing during this visit everything was great.

The room was clean and very spacious. I liked that it had a full kitchen (i.e. full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, and dishwasher). The location was "eh"...about 30 mins from downtown. However, we had to make a run to Target and that (and many more stores) were just 10 mins away without having to take the freeway to get there.We only stayed 1 night, so there were no issues with staff, but only interacted with them to check in and check out. So, I can't really speak on customer service but seemed okay...Nothing stood out as exceptional or bad in those few interactions.

The breakfast was "eh"... not very much of a selection...and had to flag down staff for a few things that were placed out empty or almost gone 15 after the start of breakfast...No bacon (cut up smoked sausage instead) iykyk lol...Other than that, it's the typical options. Location is 30 mins from downtown... but this wasn't a big deal for us.
