great location, clean spacious rooms, nice professional staff.

parking is expensive. $--- a night + valet tips. you either have to pay it or drive around looking for a public parking.

The free breakfast was definitely a bonus on top of the very spacious and clean room. Every staff member that I spoke with during my stay was beyond welcoming and helpful

I will say that the pool looked a lot nicer and more modern in the pictures. I was a little disappointed with the view from the pool as well and how far I had to walk just to get to the pool. I would also prefer a breakfast with waffles or pancake options

The entire staff of Springhill Downton Houston were very professional; regardless of their positions, each person was courteous and helpful. All made my stay an enjoyable experience. I will certainly consider the Springhill Suites Downton, if I return.

Three observations, the vanity in the bathroom was not designed for two people to share. The glass shelves were to me a hazard over the sink, only due to the location. Finally, the Ironing experience was a challege (need new product) poor quality.

Location and price were great, overall the hotel was nice and met my expectations.

Our room phone did not work to contact the front desk as well as the microwave in our room. We noticed the sheets did not look completely clean as well.

Only valet parking 45$/ night Surprise! Our room had sliding door for BR directly across from our bed. The door had a horrible squeak which woke up the other person. No fan! No soundproofing. Door under sink kept falling off in middle of night.

LARGE ROOM-everything was nice about the room including the bathroom, sitting room & bedroom. Extremely clean. The full hot breakfast was excellent. Best I¿ve ever had!!

First of all, the breakfast was my favorite and the hotel is located in the heart of downtown. My room was spacious and clean, the only missing thing was body lotion.

I wish the gym had a pull up bar/machine.

Only issue why I gave it an average was because there was no communication about the breakfast not being served because of COVID

The neighbor was very loud. But they quit fighting and went all was well

We did not get the room we originally paid for. Requested and paid for 2 Queen beds but I think they were overbooked and only had a room with one King available. They had a Sofa bed which worked out fine for the other guest.

It was near the attractions we were visiting. It wsa very clean and comfotable.

I booked a double queen and ended up with a King and a sofa bed. The staff would not change me to another room because "no others were available" but a double queen room was vacant across the hall from us.

Very nice, recently refurbished rooms. Nice pool (though the hot tub is often out of service).

The valet parking is exorbitantly expensive ($30/night) and often inefficient (e.g. you call for your car to be brought up and it is not).

This hotel needs security outside. They have a nice patio area where guest can eat. But it made it extremely uncomfortable due to the constant harassment from the homeless people. Begging for money and cigarettes. Getting mad if you don't accommodate
