Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston Northwest-Brookhollow By IHG

I searched reviews specifically looking for comments about roaches and only found one review. The first room we were put in had 3 small roaches upon walking into the room. I went to the front and they switched our rooms. I still saw one roach in new room.

A/C didn?t work in 107 so had to move to 102. 102 has musty mold smell.

Cleanliness

Breakfast on Sunday was over by 9:30. When I checked in, I was told breakfast was from 7-10. The server said she wasn?t restocking the hot breakfast. There was a couple there who was told the same 20 minutes before me. I had front desk fix it!

Key lock malfunction. Did not move me or offer me another room and had to wait overnight until repairs made. All that was needed was to reprogram device. Anyone could have done this. Right away.

The front desk receptionist  she was very nice and helpful. The house keeper was very helpful and sweet. They both deserve a raise and much more.

Did not like old furniture in the room for the price we paid for and it use a deep cleaning DEEP CLEANING.

The check in employee was very friendly and even recommended we become members for coupons. The room and bathroom were clean and the ac was on a reasonable temperature when we arrived. The front door locked at 11pm so no random people could wander in.

The beds were pretty hard so we didn't get the best sleep.

The young man that checked me in was the best, very nice.

No towels, staff was not pleasant, tv kept going out, electrical plug ins were going out as well. staff not helpful.

Great location , but horrible water pressure. I felt like I had to take a 30 minute shower because I had to wait for enough water to arrive.

I would say water pressure, but that would suggest that it had ¿pressure ¿ to begin with. Great place except for that and bad outside lighting.

Good location, very nice staff. Nicole H at front dewsk was very helpfuo.

Some furniture in the rooms in in need of being replaced.

Breakfast, location wise pretty close to downtown, staff was great, very clean room.

The HDMI ports on the TV were disabled

Everything: the location is quiet and did not have a lot of in and out traffic, the breakfast was good and have a lot of variety, the room was clean and everything worked, the fitness room had everything I needed, and the staff was friendly and helpful

Clean rooms and a good breakfast selection.

The location is a little tricky to navigate.

The staff were friendly and hard working.

The hotel was in need of some maintenance and supplies, especially linens. They did not have enough wash cloths to provide clean ones every day, and when we spilt water on our comforter, they did not have a replacement.

The grounds outside need some attention. Inside hotel was a ¿10¿ - outside was s ¿5¿.

Room was great. Hot water, Comfy bed and good tv

Internet was unreliable

Staff was very friendly and always available to help. A nice and quiet place to rest and relax too.

location was good, easy access to the expressway.

when I went in the room I noticed it wasn't the type I paid for. when I asked at the front desk I was told the room type i paid for was sold out(not sure how that works). it was too late to switch to another hotel...not happy at all!

The person that greeted us at the front desk was very nice and I appreciate her taking care of us

The first room we were given the bathroom had some water damage in the ceiling somebody had tried to fix it but the damage was still there I could see black mold where it had been leaking there were dirty handprints all over the walls.

Friendly staff, located close to highway and shops/restaurants
