Nice, quiet, pretty decor, good vibe and location

bathroom had no fan. Whaaaaaaaaa?

Beyond excellent customer service. Every staff member in every area (valet, front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, etc) were extremely accommodating and courteous. They wanted to make sure our stay was a pleasant experience. Location was great.

Everything! Service, accommodations, cleanliness - it was a great experience.

The shower pressure

All of the personal touches were a nice change: champagne when you check in, chocolates, turn-down service, free drinks and snacks, art everywhere and an above-average breakfast buffet!

Very friendly, offered water or glass of bubbly on arrival. Beautifully presented rooms. Local art work displayed throughout. Great water pressure in the shower! Small bathroom but every need accommodated. Delicious breakfast included.

Everything! From the friendly valet to the check in person to the free champagne. This hotel was so beautiful and we only wish we could've stayed longer. The breakfast that was included was amazing. I would highly recommend to a friend and already have!

Beautiful boutique hotel with friendly, personal service above my expectations. A complimentary breakfast buffet was provided which was probably the best I have ever experienced.

Cleanliness and helpfulness of staff. The ability to checkout after checkout time and store luggage until I left for airport. Breakfast was good too.

Location was ideal for our business/pleasure trip to Houston. Restaurants nearby, hotel was quiet and employees were very helpful.

Old hotel feel, very homely. Tasteful, elegant room decor. Centrally-located. Best value for your dollar.

breakfast buffet

This wonderful historic hotel in the heart of the theatre district was also very close to where I was doing business. When I needed a menswear store, the concierge was of great help finding one open late and the complimentary shuttle took me there free.

Smelled wonderfully, nice employees, and clean room.

Shower head

Really nice old hotel. Done a nice job keeping it maintained.

Cable television was analog. Poor quality and used up a small portion of the tv screen.

Very warm and friendly staff right from the Valet to the front office. It is only the breakfast cafeteria folks who were not uniformly friendly (would say one person who had a bad day? maybe!!). I love this hotel and would like to go again and again.

No complaints. All positive (smile). The gym is two blocks away. Wonder why the hotel is not able to offer a full fledged gym inside the hotel. Hmm...
